| welcome to the wonderful world of chaos piper! ... do you enjoi making long, convoluted plays, while always being able to have an option b?... well how about options c,d,e? do you enjoi having your opponent boil over in frustration as you use their cards against them? and of course... do you enjoi surplussing at least 1 every turn, constantly maintaining field, and hand control? well then a chaos piper deck is right for you! chaos piper decks utilize a large variety of tactics such as disruption, over powering, stalling, "field bending" as i like to call it or monster swapping, and of course baiting. the 2 main cards that make a chaos piper deck a chaos piper deck are mystic piper and kinka byo The engine mystic piper allows you to draw at least one card by his effect, and he's light which makes him a great chaos target and kinka byo allows you to re-use piper, and since piper isnt on the field when kinka resolves it isn't banished allowing you to +1-2 every turn and since both of these monsters are either light or dark, chaos is the perfect backbone for this deck. Many players also run the 3 tour guide 1 sangan engine, for its accessibility to rnk 3 xyz such as leviair and brilliant which also support the chaos build. Integration/ Tech since mystic piper gets an extra +1 if you draw a level 1, and kinka can bring back a level 1 monster, it's safe to say it's better to use a lot of level 1 monsters. as for specifics, since you often leave your field open its good to add a lot of defense, such as battle fader, arcana force the fool, treeborn frog, and swift scarecrow. while I personally do not run a swift scarecrow, some people like it better, since unlike battle fader it can't be negated by solemn warning/ judgement ect. however, I like it better because 1. not as many people run warning anymore, and 2 it gives field presence which can be used for many many shenanigans such as using a caius you teched in or syncing with effect veiler for formula swapped with creature swap and sacked for enemy controller. treeborn is used in pretty much the same ways, except i usually side out my frog engine game 2 so they'll think i dont run a lot of traps and side out backrow destruction... when at te same time I'll be siding backrow in. arcana force is an underestimated card for maaany reasons but 1 cant be destroyed by battle, 2 its lv 1, 3 you have a 50-50% chance of bringing it back with kinka byo, and 4 it cant be switched into defense mode... why is that good?... creature swap OFC! ive won sooo many games by swapping my arcana force and attacking it for game. more level 1 tech/staples include: wisel and effect veiler both of which provide excellent control. As for non-lv1 tech and spell/trap tech: i use caius, cardcar d (for tcg in ocg i recommend a dog's chance) gorz since you very often have an open field, creature swap, enemy controller, foolish burial for treeborn or a quick chaos target, scapegoat for enemy controller creature swap, and syncing (this deck actually syncs!... a lot!), and treacherous trap hole in main deck since that card can do sooooo many things its ridiculous... kill ur sangan kill their boss, kill 2 of their monsters, and some other tricks you'll have to figure out yourselves the rest of the deck is staples i recommend heavy storm, 2 MST, book of moon, allure of darkness, dark hole, monster reborn, mind control. |

| Nice article, i enjoyed reading Some people may have dueled a lot with this deck, but some people like me were never a fan of it, so this article was useful for me. I still believe that there are duelists that find this article good even if they played the deck, because it might have given them some extra tips. Thnx for posting this barr |
