Well, tcg exclusive always mess up everything. However I think, soon the tcg exclusive will strike the march list of limited/semi-limited/ or better on the BANNED list (Where all mermail cards belong.) Anyway, I do not meet a lot of mermail decks whne I'm dueling..however wind-ups and dark world's are very popular.

this is just.... ridiclous...
the moment mermails became tcg, they topped every YCS and ended always in the finals... n even that konami wants to add more support.... this game is doomed...
They need to atleast increase supports to older archetype like they did to harpie.. espcially the synchron decks..

why is everybody like OMFG MORE MERMAILS SUPPORTS !@#$%^%$#@#$%$#@#$% ??? am i the only one who actually knows how to beat a mermail deck consistently? you guys know that tkro is mermails biggest enemy right? >_>

the abyssteus actually is a nice cards. its like; pitch, special summon, double search, +1, without normal summoning.

how the hell is dat nice? n not every decks run raioh.. well maybe mostly.. but what are the odds of opeing wit it...
imo, mermails are not a problem.. its the atleanteans that are the probelm cause they benefit from cost.. when did cost become so easy to pay and even pluss from that? <.<

dandywarrior with dual dandy? remember those times?

anyway, tkro is a staple this format. even if you run dw or any other crappy deck that isnt supposed to main it. side it if you dont main it. besides tkro there are loads of other cards that interupt atlantean mermails their plays. play stun? side macro. play aggro? faders/trags/gorz. loads of answers to this deck, so ppl shouldnt complain too much about it.

Dark World and Mermail Atlanteans, probably Macro decks too have one common enemy:
SOUL DRAIN - I bet you've heard of it and I sided this card for a match in case I'm dealing one of those three. However, it's kind of risky puting this card in your if you run decks like Fabled or certaing heroes deck...
Also there are lot's of cards that can slow down mermails: black horn of heaven, forbidden chalice (played at the right time), divine wrath, effect veiler, solemns, bottomless (especially for DW.) tkro,....and more and more stuff like that... stop whining and do something

Actually, the cards have been used, and do very well. But the support factor will change greatly once the march ban list comes out, since they will be hit hard, and if they don't get hit, than Konami seriously has issues.

I doubt Mermails will even use any of the new support except maybe that 2700 beater (I forget his name). But the fact Konami is giving them more support when it's not needed is a bit annoying.

Let's remember that Yugioh is a game full with possibilities and more important, do the impossible - possible.
