1. No, we'll need to recruit new testers and half of them most likely won't even be active. And nothing really will change. We never really did dorm wars, so what's the point?

2. I wish I knew the answer. One day the was this activity BOOM, but how is happened and why it happened I don't know.

3. New design would be certainly refreshing, but who's going to make it?

I like the idea of dorms, but I like more the idea of how to raise your rank now.

We can raise more activity by higher ``media coverage``

We should have new designs for certain events, such as x-mas, easter etc. But also, we could make a new design of lost cards as in some of the older banned cards pics, and etc.

Bring the dorms back. This may make higher ranks more interesting to acheive.



If ADA members were to create new DN names, with "ADA" in the beginning, it may help.

To everyone who said we should bring back dorms:
I disagree with the fact since what makes ADA unique is the fact that they have no dorm. Without the dorms, games and events have been created to help people earn exp, but without the fact that there was no dorm, these games and events would not be what they are, and possible not even be there.
So I think we should stick to having no dorms, and keep ADA as unique as it is the way it is.

Bringing back dorms is a good idea but the tester issue is a problem. @ ageha: the testers aren't active but activity is a problem within the academy as it is. The new design will help get activity up but that's only till we get active. The key to solving all this goes back to activity so we should focus on that first. We need heavy advertisements and lots of scouts. Then worry about dorms and testers.

thank god i decided to check this place again as i have sorta given up on duelists( although my friends the synchrons will always keep my heart alive to it even if slightly) but ya saw this place around october last year and tried to see if anyone was ever on but all i can do is give one suggestion(cause ive saved the same academy 3 differentt times with this)

Recruit people BUT dont just randomly do so most people will leave since they wont have the patience to hit ur activities boomthus making it not happen

find people who end up appealing to you as either good people epic of plain fn to duel and slowly ask em if they are willing to join and if so tell them abit of the situation but telkl them you are working hard on a revival andthat they may even be testers and you might need their help or it may never happen



Next USE THE CHATBOX OFTEN many peopl go to the chatbox first to see if they might fit in and belong at the forum but even if people ar away they mostly check archives to see if the placxe is at least trying to be active and if so they may reload the page every so often till they see someone there this leads to 3-6 people chats thus starting the base of the rivival the rest is just becoming friends while still continuing the proccess





ive done this b4 and frankly i want to find a place where i can enjoy the bonds shared through dueling again remember you can do this abit at a time imagine for example yusei he had to affect the hearts of a whole planet in 1 cardgame which he was barely survivng in



thank you and please do well succeed and enjoy ( from the duelist whos deck once stolen was not only rebuilt due to the giving of synchron based cards from random past opponents he had bonded with over a single duel and then had his original deck returned by those very same people going out of their way to find the seller on ebay buy it off him and them beat him silly on private video just to show how strongly they had bonded ith this one player over 4 years in 5 different parts of town and people fay bonds being forged in cardgames is only for the shows ha im living proof and id rather fucking die than lie about this)

My opinion is that the dorms system must be brought back but the system must be reviewed.
Also this academy needs to be promoted not through posts or threads on other academies but through wars. Challenge academies to wars, making different tournaments with participants from 2 or more academies etc.
About new design I think we need that too. Let's show this academy isn't death.
Also about exp and ADAC - come one ppl...getting 3 exp for 1 duel...that's robbery. A player takes his time building up his deck, testing it and what he gets?!...3 exp..,
Also prizes for tourney..why not use ADA shop......decks, sigs and avatars..that's what really users wants....

3. a new design once is a while is nice, but right now atm its fine as it is. this design also brings back memories of the old times, so it has emotional value to it *thats what i personal feel about it*.

talking about academy wars, we first need a war team with a standard of war decks tested and all. who is gonna put the war team together? also are we all being able to be that active to participate on it? these are things we should take under consideration before even challenging another academy. participating in wars is one thing but winning them would make excelent advertisement.

I think it's no use organizing anything now. Everyone's got school, so pretty there's a lot of work and nobody is thinking about dueling.

Well, we don't need many testers atm (1-2 will be enough.) And about organizing we should be able to pull off something...

sounds likes a lot of work to me guys.
Here are some suggestions from my part:
1. (Dorms) Blossomwilt, it's not about what makes the Academy unique, it's about what makes the Academy active!
Dorms make things more interesting....
Now take in consideration a Role Play game or an RPG, MMORPG... why do you think people play those games? because they enjoy just killing or because they enjoy leveling up, buying some new gear, learning some new skills, etc...?
yeah, that's the point of this website!
No one will be active, if the things are not interesting.

2. The design is pretty good, with few issues, but those can all be fixed!

3. Snake haha, we always had trouble will testers lol... ehm, in order to make that work, you need some active and some smart players out there!

and anyway, the only way to achieve something is by working hard on it! like really hard and it requires the collaboration of other people...
