i got decks for both games but i really am bad at yu gi oh someone help me with this choice ^.^

Well as an intermediate YGO player I can say that it' become a really broken game, it doesn't depends who can play with their cards right, it depends who first summons a Synchro/XYZ monster...
However, if you build an effective overpowered deck you'll have better chances in winning. You have a big diversity of cards, archetypes and strategies....you can use each of them to try.
Vanguard which I'm playing now it's a game...still at it's begins so therefore you have better chances to master it well (I mean you'll pass through each set, each period, therefore you can improve your decks in the future.) but this comes with a disadvantage: since it's new...you won't have a big diversity of choosing..therefore you'll have to stick with what you have.
As a good Vanguard player I can say it's a real fun game, easy to master and very similar to YGO. If you play it online then you can use not only the English sets but the JPN sets (translated of course...) which presents, as usual, a great variety.
Here can be an endless debate about disadvantages and advantages of each game so here is my advice:
Listen to all but do as you like (in Romanian sounds better and cooler....)

Anyway, I agree with tweed except for the first one to summon synchro/xyz, I mean it also depends on skills to win

hmmmmmm yugioh or vanguard...... i like both tbf and im not too bad at either of them and i play both online regularly but in the end i would say yugioh is better because as tweed said there is a wide variety of cards to choose from so u can try different things

Well to start welcome. And also, it does depend on who gets there combo off first, but it also depends on who can save most advantage while getting their combo for responses through out the game.
We in the ADA forum will be glad to help you through any questions, deck ideas and other stuff.

thanks guys that really helps but i think ill stick with yu gi oh until the banquet of divas packs come out then ill go back to vanguard but right now im working on my royal paladin deck trying to think who to add high dog breeder akane or soul saver which i have 3 in my deck :l
