| my question is this can Evolzar Dolkka negate Exodia?
This created a long argument between me and my mates on one end of the argument they say when you draw the last peace of Exodia then Exodia's effect activates and as a result Dolkka can negate it. on the other hand me and others think that collecting all five peaces is a win condition so can't be chained to so can't be negated which side is wrong |

| There is absolutely no card atm that can negate exodia, unless u cripple opp hand before he/she gets the last piece |

| Indeed. Though I wonder if Exodia can ever be consistent. Like I run Piper \exodia, and I win most of my matches with it, but hmm. |

| Thanks for the reply's I just got confirmation that my ruling was the correct one from an email from yugioh@konami-europe.net stating what all of you said which is Exodia ain't an effect. It is a win condition and as a result it can nether be negated I have also sent a ruling request on other cards that when resolved are a win condition such as Final Countdown and Destiny Board

| That means u don't trust us D: For me, exodia is the worst deck ever, i mean u just stare at the opp for like half an hour drawing n discarding cards, n then he says gg. Bad deck is bad |

| koolkid is still stuck in the world where all decks that dont attack are bad *sigh* anyway its like they say in Fast and Furious: 'It doesnt matter if u win by a mile or by a millimeter, what matters is that u win' :3 |

Bad deck is bad Some exodia decks are about drawing the entire deck in 1 turn. The most succesful one is probably Dragon-Exodia. But it would never top so long as: -People run DWs and KGs. -Decks have a comfortable access to Shock Master. -Players with heavy-backrow decks are smart enough to set their cards, so they will have less than 2 cards in their hand. (To hinder Card Descturtion plays). |

| I agree with Koolkid, i mean, there is nothing fun sitting there staring while your opponent has the first move, and he plows through his whole deck, with nothing you can do about it.
I don't know about everyone else, but i play the game only to have fun, and i can't say that if i face off against an exodia deck. |

Awfully incorrect! This win condition is met properly, only after the chain it happened in resolves. --- Example 1: I activate Spiritual Water Art. Opponent chains ar of greed. Jar of greed resolves first, opponent draws the last piece of Exodia. He cannot declare that he has the 5 pieces yet. He has to wait for the chain to fully resolve. Spiritual Water Art kicks in. I get to see his hand and send one of his cards to the graveyard. I send one of the pieces. Opponent didn't win. --- Example 2: I have 3 pieces of Exodia and Graceful Charity in my hand, and 3 cards in the deck. I activate Graceful Charity and draw 2 Pieces + Dark Factory of Mass Production. Altough I have all the 5 pieces, I have to discard 2 cards first. I send both arms to the graveyard. I say: "Dum dum-Duuuuuuuuuuuum!" and activate Dark Factorty of Mass Production. Opponent says: "FU" and activates Dark Bribe. I say: "FML" and RQ. --- Example 3: I have 5 cards left in the deck. It's the last piece. I activate Super Rejuvenation. (I discarded 6 dragons this turn). Although I draw the last piece, I cannot declare victory before fully resolving this card's effect. I draw the 6th card and lose. --- Example 666 (Utterly evil): I have 2 cards left in the deck. The last piece is there. I activate White Elephant's Gift and send my face up Vanilla Monster to the grave. (Victory is fuckin' mine, biatch!) Opponent chains Hand Destruction. I send 2 cards to the graveyard and then draw 2. Then I have to draw 2 cards, due to White Elepehan'ts Gift. Guess what. Time to RQ again! |
