Umm, I have like no experience with Water Decks, but I get by. Where is your Book of Moon? You also might want 3 Royal Decrees, because their pretty good in IB's. (Or so I've heard...)

the best ice barrier deck is a ice beat lockdown (custom name lmao)
um this uses only dewdark, prior and cryomancer of the ice barrier
what u want is all level 2 or lower water aqua type monsters so you get a huge boost from wetlands (the field spell) and them being all aqua you can have solidarity too you want to mix in some frogs prefereably unifrog and submarine frog with treeborn. whats even better is it abuses dewdark's effect of attacking directly with a big boost from wetlands and solidarity making it a 3200 direct beater. prior is for extra damage or to get back an ice barrier monster
crymancer is there to stop attacks from lv 4 or higher same as gravity bind and level limit area b
penguin soldier is self explanatory getting rid of bigger attack monsters from your opp's side and that card between dewdark and penguin soldier is 'numen erat testudo' the name is in latin... but its effect is good 0 atk and 1900 def: neither player can special summon monsters with 1900 or more attack, this card is great seeing as i dont have any 1900+ monsters

to immediately go and say that a specific way of running a deck is better is just... ignorant... and besides ive run tht deck before... u wanna know why its not better?... xyz dont have levels... its just too slow... and u run trrborn with with sooo nany permanent cards and field spell... the prior build is actually a lot better as far as speed goes. even if it was better, u should try to help him with this deck style... anyway for the deck itself u have a lot of inconsistent cards tht could lead to dead draws... like moray and triangle and with prior u can toolbox ur grave for anything... so run more of a variety to choose from... otherwise the duel would basicly be over as soon as they get a monster stronger than gantala, i think 3 defender is 1 too much, i reccomend running 1 secret guards 1 dai-sojo 1-2 medium and try swap frog for more speed and it can act as a foolish burial for ur engine... if u use swap frog it makes moray eel of greed less of a dead draw as well, for your extra use gaioabyss for sure... also run foolish burial for toolboxing, and i always feel 3 MST is too much... for ur trap line-up... get rid of dark bribe its unnessecary -prison as well... its too slow and covers little ground run safe zone over it for more options especially in this deck where you need gantala to live as long as possible.
