As for the above, i kind of like the simple styled banners and i like the nexus duwl academy banner

You need to start working on flow and depth, and stop putting just random c4ds around the render :S

I finally finished a smudge sig. It lacks a lot since it's like first actual smudge tag...

Collab with a friend
I started with the base. He added the render and a smudge. I added some orange smudge and some more yellow. He made it look better. I fixed the rest.

told you above, start working with flow and depth, and use good renders on which you can accomplish that

get some cool resources and use them by considering your background and render style, dont go random

As for the latest works they are kind of poor with things used on them -> Render + smudged bg
I like the colors from the 2nd one and i think it can be made a lot better if you use your smudge skills on pure fire effects but put a reasonable background and enhance the image look by 1-2 good C4Ds that make sense with the bg and render
Also as stated before, chose renders that are in some motion or some better position than only standing so you can make a good composition out of it
I mean look at the sig before the last one, the guy seems to be all into his head. The head is focused and it seems bigger than the rest, theres too much empty room in the picture too, take care about these things

Here is an all in one tutorial for you, read it and you will learn a lot about the things i mentioned above, youll start to think better while making a signature too, i highly recommend it

Also, a c4d in a smudge tag will look terrible. A smudge relies on how good you are with depth and colors.
Smudge tags are Smudged BG and a render .________.
You guys rely on C4D's too much >.<

Look at that pack. Do you see any of them using a solid C4D? Ofc I can't do that yet since I just started smudging.

About your render thing. You can find flow in that render. His head is tilted.
