I had a game the other day where a guy ended up topdecking only a Poly, no field or hand. He then plays it, and I think he's just showing it. Then he starts drawing cards. his is a clip from the exchange that followed:

TheForceUnleashed: poly=card of sanctity
Genma no Ou: nope
Genma no Ou: You can't just make up stuff
TheForceUnleashed: i'm transforming it
TheForceUnleashed: draw 2
Genma no Ou: You can't transform cards
TheForceUnleashed: we draw until we have 6
TheForceUnleashed: i just did
Genma no Ou: They cards do exactly what they say they do
Genma no Ou: And Card of Sanctity doesn't have that effect in the game
TheForceUnleashed: what the cards sau=y is what we want them to say
Genma no Ou: No, what they say is what they say
Genma no Ou: You can't make stuff up
TheForceUnleashed: you can't believe in the reality we live in
Genma no Ou: I can believe in what the cards say
Genma no Ou: You can't apply existential philosophy to a game with a fixed rule set
TheForceUnleashed: everything around us should be questioned for what is real or not
TheForceUnleashed: even you

Genma no Ou: That's the worst troll routine I've ever seen
Genma no Ou: And I've seen some bad ones

Suffice to say, he wouldn't admit he was a troll. It wasn't a rated match so I quit before I had to finish listening to his poorly-disguised lines; but I know lots of people HAVE been stuck in DN matches with trolls, and it was especially bad when the ASS button was still around. Anybody got a story to share?
