| As i got it, i think the tactic is: tengu + mistvalley thunderbird vs genex birdman + mistvalley falcon tengu means +1 and chance for xyz and thunderbird stays kinda on field for falcon or with genex chance for synchro or xyz other one summoner monk and blastfan = birdman + chance for xyz i dislike the shield wing bird and delta flyer, but its just that i didnt figure out for what you need them, u might need shield wing for trish? and flyer simply makes you easy xyz variants with his eff, idk
The deck looks too easy made on the first look. Ill try the deck out to see how it really is during a duel |

| Yeah maybe I'll post a dueling vid of it too sometime . It's really explosive. Birdman is the main way to return and I run 3 and the Blastfans and the Monks to get the Blastfans so yeah. I said in the video that Shield Wing was an odd choice, and Flyer isn't the best card in the world, but I need variety in wind monsters I can summon or bounce for Birdman. Think about it...your standard move is summon Tengu, play Wind, return Tengu for Birdman to summon it, special another Tengu, summon another wind. If I didn't have another tuner in my deck I would have a level 7 synchro and my 2nd Tengu sitting around. Since I have Flyer I can gain a field of Scrap Archfiend, Stardust Dragon, and Tengu turn 1 by using up 1 card: Birdman. +2s BY SYNCHROING are fun . And that's just your most basic move. Since Delta has variety in what level it can be, it's the best choice for a wind tuner. If I draw it...summon it and return it for Birdman. Lol |

| ive got some questions about the rullings here Mist valleys eff says - Code:
-
Once per turn, if a face-up WIND monster you control returns to the hand, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower WIND monster from your Deck. And theres a rulling: - Code:
-
You can activate this effect if a WIND monster is returned to the hand to pay the cost of an effect. In that case you activate the effect after the current Chain resolves. Tengu's and Thunderbird's effects are mandatory, so they have to resolve, and they resolve before optional effects meaning they resolve before divine wind of mist valley. Here is the skid: You have Genex ally birdman in hand. You have mist valley and tengu on field. You use birdman's cost for his eff to return tengu to hand. Tengu's eff and birdman's effects activate. Which activates first, and can you activate mist valley's eff in such a situation? Similar situation is with thunderbird and falcon, or falcon with tengu, or thunderbird with birdman. |

Almost right. The mandatory effects of Tengu and Thunderbird will CHAIN first. Divine Wind is optional, true, so it loses priority to chain first vs mandatory effects, but it is an "if...you can" optional effect, aka it never misses timing. Only "when...you can" optional effects miss timing. Its something you just have to memorize, but it sort of makes sense if you think about it..."if" x happens you can do y. Doesn't matter when it resolves as long as x happened. But if it says WHEN x happens, you can do y, that means if you can't do y right when x happens, you cannot do it at all. Moving on, Tengu will chain first, but Divine Wind will resolve first. So technically it goes: Return Tengu to summon Birdman, summon Birdman, summon a wind, summon a Tengu. This is why Blastfan misses timing as I mentioned in the vid: because Tengu still must be summoned next. |

| so when i use for example birdman on tengu then tengus eff chains first then i chain mist valley then summon birdman then blastfan and since tengu must be summoned blastfan then cant get me birdman. Alright.
Ive dueled few times with the deck, nice combos with it. I realized what it does. Simply everything makes a combo. Since i saw which options you have for wind monsters i can now just say delta flyer and shield wing are wise choices. Very well, since you dont want to draw blastfan as you want to activate its eff to get birdman easily, you dont need 2. Use simply 1. Since the deck is not "falcon based" you need only 2 falcons. It can get easy onto field by many ways thanx to the decks variation. Falcon can perform a combo only during battle phase and that's not what you need much. So to boost up the combo with mist valley and since the following card stops many opponents' combos - i added 2 CED (compulsory evacuation device) its today's staple. With 2 ced you boost up your defensive tactics, i think you know the power of this card and in how many situations it can be used.
-1 mistvalley falcon -1 genex blastfan +2 compulsory evacuation device
so that would be it ^^
EDIT: ive got some idea with other cards which could change this deck a bit but itll be simillar, let me see which is better |

| Croc: those are reasonable changes. You don't NEED 3 falcon probably, and you usually only need to get off Blastfan once. If you draw it it makes you sad though haha. Ced is a great card, especially here. Twedledum: it's a cool deck, test it out for yourself |
