apparently the ruling was that when hornet goes to the grave to destroy he's considered a spell yet. It was invalidated shortly after as we all know what Shi En does to spells

I'm really curious as to how Six Sams won, but at the same time, I'm glad no deck list has been released right now xD. Too many people would net deck it.

That ruling mess-up definitely could have changed things, but honestly, if the Sams user was able to get out Landoise early on (I'm guessing that's how they won, lol), they would have game against most tier 0 decks.

Anyway, it's interesting that Sams won. It doesn't make sense to me that Shi En can negate Hornet though. First of all, it only negates activations of cards themselves, and Hornet is equipped by an effect so...yeah. Even if it could, if sends itself to grave as a cost, at which point it may or may not be a monster, so meh. It's possible that it can, but I doubt it because it has no activation. Keep in mind that this ruling is a rumor.
