i just played a guy, his screen name is HeraldOdin he summoned Odin, right after i activated Bottomless, then he told me he had chained Odin's eff to the summon of Odin, even though he didnt say eff or anything, i thought since the effect was activated manually during the main phase, as it says you can activate the eff to make it unaffected by spells/traps, if so did he cheat or can he really do this? and is Odin immune to ALL traps and spells or just those that target him?

i think that if he call prio on his effect u can still chain with bth and destroy and remove it from play (or banish it -.-) but im not sure.

Yes you can, since Odin's effect(s) starts a chain. All of them.


So when he calls prio and uses the eff to negate all to be unaffected, you can chain BTH to it. And then it resolves backwards: RFG Odin, then after that it would be unaffected, but it's not.

alright thanks for clearing it up more, im pretty sure i got my answer now

Croc's explanation is right for the time when prio worked on ignition effs. Now since prio no longer applies to ignition effs you can bottomless Odin freely on summon. Either way Odin never saved himself from BTH as BTH would always have resolved on the chain before Odin eff at any time.
