Used to be one of my favorite decks and it still is if you have enough skill to use the right cards at the right time.
I am talking about the old :

Malicious Synchro decks :

2- absolute mali synchro mill
3- Ls dad twilight
4- tengu miller synchro

Taking all these decks one by one i will introduce you to the familiar cards these deck use\


NR 1

DARK ARMED DRAGON :



First introduced to the world with the comping of the PTDN booster pack years ago, this card opened a new age in the game of yugioh making players go from ritual and fusion decks to the new synchro and swarm decks. What makes dark armed dragon so powerful ?
1- His way of summoning : he might not be summoned by cards like coth or m.reborn but he is cheap enough on its own, reason that he is limited.
2- His effect : he removes from play a dark monster from your graveyard to destroy a card your opponent controls
3- His attack : He is a 2800 attack beater to take down. Not that easy with certain decks unless you have a mind control or a dark hole.
With these said, you can clearly see that he can be summoned really easily in dark decks or powerful miller decks.

NR 2

DESTINY HERO - MALICIOUS :




Probably one of the MOST OVERPOWERED synchro material cards after reborn tengu, this card made the yugioh decks history for more than 3 years along with gladiator beasts. In the old banlists malicious used to be at 3, it has been semi limited in the September 2009 banlist if my memory is correct. All you have to do is dump one of these evil dudes in the graveyard and you immediatly have a free one on field thinning your deck by one and having a level 6 synchro material monster on the field.

NR 3

GORZ, THE EMISSARY OF DARKNESS :




Just like the above 2 cards this card made the deck history after being released. Its effect is so cheap and useful that it can be used in a lot of decks. Such as OTK counters with battle fader, anti-burn decks, monarchs ( any variant ), dad decks, and any other kind of deck which does not run heavily on field advantage all turns. A shame that he is not banned yet cuz i hate it when my opponent uses it lol.

NR 4

CHAOS SORCERER :




This card has a variation of usage but it is very popluar in chaos decks such as chaos plants, twilight, and in some cases, tele-dad too. Its effect and summon is very easy and cheap, plus that it is a free level 6 synchro materials sometimes if you want to deal some damage this turn. He is very easy to summon in chaos miller decks and once summoned monster reborn can be used on him. Besides that he can be a good bait just like cyber dragon for you to summon safely some cards like powerful synchros you can't do without.

NR 5

STARDUST DRAGON :




This powerful synchro is used in almost ANY deck ... even those that don't run tuners. Why ? Because his effect saves you from, dark armed dragon, mirror force, dark hole, mystical space typhoon, and other mass or single destruction cards.

NR 6

PLAGUESPREADER ZOMBIE :




Now this card is without a doubt the BEST tuner that was ever released. It might be a -1 in hand and in deck speed but its effect allows you not only to double synchro, but to take out cards that u need in grave that are in your hand by the return-and-mill method of plague. For example you have double malicious in hand and a plaguespreader zombie in hand. Summon one malicious in one way or another, back the other mali to deck, sync with first than rfg the other to summon the other making a big advantage without stunning your hand.

Now onto some strategies.

1:
hand : 2x mali, foolish burial, cyber dragon, monster reborn, dark armed dragon
grave : some random dark monster
opponents field : 2 fd monster or such ( no backrow )

what to do : summon cydra, tribute it for malicious and activate foolish burial to send plague in grave. Activate monster reborn for plague and synchro for stardust dragon. Specail summon dark armed dragon and rfg 1 dark monster to destroy one his monsters. Activate plague effect to send your mali in hand to top of deck and activate mali effect to summon the other from grave. Synchro both mali and plague again for dark end dragon and destroy his other fd monster. Attack him with dark end dragon first and he might draw a gorz to save his ass. Attack both gorz and token and dont be afraid of dark hole. Make a gg next turn.

2:
hand : giant trunade/mst, chaos sorcerer, dark armed dragon, foolish burial, plague, hand destruction.
grave : 1 random dark monster ( dasher for example ) and some ryko
opponent field : 1 fd spell, 1 face up odin


what to do : activate mst/trunade to blow up his solemn warning lol. Activate foolish burial to dump a malicious in grave and activate its effect to draw another maicious on the field. Summon plague and synchro for stardust dragon. Summon dark armed dragon. Rfg a mali and some random light monster to summon chaos sorerer. Rfg odin with chaos sorcere and send hand destruction to top to summon plague from grave. Synchro chaos with plauge for colossal fighter and attack him.

3:
hand : mind control, allure of darkness, diva, mst
field : dark grepher, (fd) return from different dimension
grave : plauge and malicious.
opponent field : 1 fd spell

what to do : activate mst on the fd spell. Return allure on top of deck for plauge and go for mali effect, Synchro both for colossal. Summon another mali from deck and summon diva on field. Synchro diva with mali for dark end dragon. Than the remaining diva for a gaia. Attack opponent and if he dosent use gorz its game.

As you can see this deck does not rely on the old tele-dad strategy which uses dark grepher and Armageddon knight to dump monster to grave. Instead it uses 4 lightsworn monster along with light brigade to have deck speed. This deck doesn't need allure of darkness either because it will mostly be useless to rfg your dark monsters in this deck.

This is a very aggressive deck that needs not only luck to run. You need to know how to use the mill power and the cards you might mill. For example if you mill s/t you need to use carefully your hand. If you mill monsters you need to know how to use the grave. Who is smart here can find a place for a miracle fusion.
