Woo, Doppel Plant! *High fives you*. I see you took my article to heart. I would try combining the builds. Junk and Debris mesh together well, they always have and it makes Doppel more live. So I would take your 2nd build and:
-1 ehren (for Lyla. Lyla's better unless I'm missing something you're trying to do)
-1 caius (not as much tribute fodder as there used to be + you need your normal summon for j&d)
-1 tytannial (doesn't suck but I think it's more important to search for dandy w/lonefire)
-1 gorz (good but you need more room)
-1 chaos (3 may be okay but I don't like dead draws and u need room)
-1 junk archer
+2 junk synchron
+2 doppelwarrior
+1 reinforcement of the army
+1 shooting quasar

I'm liking the maining Veilers idea, I might try that for my build. You could also drop 141 for Mind Control, or drop 141 and Trap Stun for a pair of bths or prisons. Or you could somehow fit in a 3rd junk. Still trying to figure out the best combination myself

I love your chagnes, Harper, but I actually am against maining 2 Veilers in this format when traps are even easier to use than earlier. (No Coldwave)...

In addition, waiting for your opponent to attack sucks. Many decks today are able trapstun / clear your backrow / do something to protect their monsters before attacking with the cards you actually want to Remove. You should be less limited with your abiliy to stop your opponent. The more windows in which you can do that, the better. That way you can prevent him from synchroing and stuff, but you know that already. xD
