| Here we'll talk about all the new synchro fusion monsters. What's good about these cards? Every single one can be summoned with Miracle Synchro Fusion. If you play decks that abuse the material monsters, you can use Miracle Synchro Fusion to give your deck the extra boost that it may need. Each of these have unique effects. Lets go over the one by one. Arcanite, Magician the Supreme WizardSpoiler: | | [center]1 Spellcaster-Type Synchro Monster + 1 Spellcaster-Type monster This card cannot be Special Summoned from your Extra Deck except by Fusion Summon. When this card is Fusion Summoned, place 2 Spell Counters on it. This card gains 1000 ATK for each Spell Counter on it. Once per turn, you can remove 1 Spell Counter from a card you control to activate one of these effects: ● Select and destroy 1 card on the field. ● Draw 1 card
|
This card will work perfectly in any Spellcaster Synchro deck. Had rescue cat not been banned, we would be seeing a lot of this in Gravekeepers cat decks. Even now, its still quite easy to get out. Arcanite Magician already requires a Spellcaster Type monster as synchro material, so essentially, by summoning Arcanite Magician, and getting Miracle Synchro Fusion, you have Arcanite Magician, the Supreme Wizard. Now lets go over its effect. So immedietly, you see that it has 1400 ATK and 2800 DEF. So when its summoned, it has 3400 ATK and you get the option of destroying up to 2 cards on the field or drawing up to 2 cards from your deck. This is perfect for final pushes for game, or even OTKs. Dragon Knight Draco-EquisteSpoiler: | | 1 Dragon-Type Synchro Monster + 1 Warrior-Type Monster. This monster can only be Special Summoned by Fusion Summon (from the Extra Deck). Once per turn, you can select 1 Dragon-Type Synchro Monster in the Graveyard. Remove it from play, treat this card's name as that monster's name, and give this card the same effects as that monster, until the End Phase. While this card is in face-up Attack Position, any effect damage you would take from an opponent's card effect is inflicted to your opponent instead. |
This card is something else. Any deck that uses Superpolymerization should have this card in the extra deck. It is quite amazing for these decks. It isn't all that playable in all other decks since easy synchroing doesn't happen quite well in Warrior-Themed decks, but nonetheless, its usable. I especially see its use in junk and debris decks. Now its effect. You can select 1 Dragon-Type synchro monster in your graveyard and use it as Draco's effect. I don't see this to be all that useful, especially considering that unless you have a deck that spams Dragon-Type synchros, you will most likely remove the Dragon-Type synchro monster for its use in the summoning of this card. It is interesting that you can remove a card from your opponent's graveyard, but really nothing that useful since Stardust won't revive him, BRD meh, and RDA is also meh. Maybe if your opponent has Infernity Doom Dragon or something of the sort that comes in useful, then yes this card's effect is worth it. Ultimate Axon KickerSpoiler: | | 1 Psychic-Type Synchro Monster + 1 Psychic-Type monster. This monster can only be Special Summoned by Fusion Summon (from the Extra Deck). This card cannot be destroyed by card effects. During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, you gain Life Points equal to the destroyed monster's ATK. |
This card is good in Psychic decks, but really in no others. It's not always that you synchro summon a Psychic-Type synchro monster using a Psychic-Type tuner. But in Psychic-Themed decks, this card makes a lot of sense, especially since it can't be destroyed by card effects, and it gives you LP boosts like Thought Ruler and at the same time burning your opponent. I would have to say this is the least usable of all of the Synchro-Fusion monsters. Now come the ones that are really important. Now why did I separate the first 3 from these 2? Because of the clause that is in the beginning of the effect for the previous three. “This monster can only be Special Summoned by Fusion Summon (from the Extra Deck).” The following do not have this clause. Therefore, they can be summoned with Summoner of Illusions. Gaia Drake, Knight of Earth and SkySpoiler: | | "Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth" + 1 non-Effect Synchro Monster This card cannot be targeted or destroyed by the effect(s) of an Effect Monster. |
This card is absolutely horrible in all decks except those that are meant to abuse it. How often will someone Syncho Summon 2 Non-Effect Synchro monsters in one duel? Almost never. So Konami had to give this card something useful. It doesn't have the clause I mentioned earlier. This means you can abuse this card with Summoner of Illusions, and the important part is that since its not targeted by the effects of Effect Monsters and cannot be destroyed by their effects, after its summoned by Summoner, you can keep it on the field without having to use a card to flip it facedown so you can save it. This means that if you pull off the combo properly, you get a 3500 ATK beatstick that can't be destroyed or by card effects. Woot! Naturia ExtrioSpoiler: | | "Naturia Beast" + "Naturia Balkion" A Fusion Summon of this card can only be conducted with the above Fusion Material Monsters. You can remove from play 1 card from your Graveyard and send the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard to negate the activation of a Spell or Trap Card, and destroy it. |
This is also a bit tough. How often will you summon Naturia Beast and Naturia Balkion, and manage to keep them on the field/graveyard, then play Miracle Synchro Fusion, especially when Cat decks are dead this format? Well other than Sabers, I don't see this happening too often. So.. Konami says, lets let this be summoned without having to Fusion Summon it also. This can also be summoned by Summoner of Illusions. Now its effect: It can negate the activation of a Spell/Trap card by sending 1 card from the top of the deck to the grave and removing from play 1 card in your grave. So its a pretty good effect, especially when you're trying to OTK someone. So lets hear your opinions on these |
