Call me crazy, but it seems I have returned to Yu-Gi-Oh! writing business. Ideas are simply flowing through my head so I must write them down. I hope you'll enjoy this fiction and hopefully, I'll finish this one and I promise I will do everything to complete it. If you have read previous one then you most likely know that I tend to create to new cards to look forward to those as well. Wink

Rebirth of Sunrise.

Chapter 1. Intro.

I felt cold.... incredibly cold and lonely... Where was I? Why was I here? What is going on?
Slowly I managed to lift my heavy eyelids, but instead of sun, I saw dark alleyway with lots of junk around it. My body was heavy and it ached in some places. I sat up and looked around myself, but the scenery didn’t change. There was a lot of junk all around the alleyway and pretty much that was it.
- What am I doing here?
I looked around once more and noticed I have a bag on shoulders. I slowly took it off as my body was still aching a little. I opened backpack and found a little bit of food, bottle of water and a duel disk with deck in it.
- I wonder who put them in here?
I put everything back and put bag on my shoulders again. I carefully stood up and then realization hit me like a lighting in blue sky.
- I don’t remember anything!
I don’t know how is it possible but I don’t have any images in my mind. All I have is this alleyway. I don’t even know my own name. How is that even possible?! How can a person not even remember it’s name?!
I almost started to panic, but somehow I managed to pull myself together. I have to move. If I stand here nothing will happen. I can’t just wait that miraculously my memories will return. I have to go and get new memories if I can’t remember old ones.
I started walking out of alleyway and it didn’t take long to get on a bigger road. However, scenery didn’t change much. It was still junk all around and the buildings were in such state that it looked like if I touch it, it’ll simply fall apart.
Slowly I walked further into this jungle of junk. I looked around on each step because I got the weirdest feeling that someone is watching me. And I was right. I saw as a bunch of bad-dressed men surrounded me while hissing some weird sound which I guess was their laugh. They were all different ages and sizes, some looked like teens but some could be almost called old. However, there was feature that each of these men had. Yellow markings on the face.
- The birdy flew right into our trap!

Chapter 2.

I was surrounded by some shady characters. I knew that even if I fought them I couldn’t win because there are simply too many of them. I’ll have to talk myself out of this mess.
- What do you want from me?
At first they laughed, the biggest of group who I guess was also the leader, stepped forward. His clothes were in bad state and torn apart in some places, but other members of group were no different. All looked very untidy and I think I feel a faint hint of odor coming from them.
- What a stupid question to ask! We want your bad of course! – said the leader if he can be called the leader that is.
- Why do you even want it? There’s nothing valuable in there!
- Liar! – the youngest and weakest of group yelled out. - I saw that you had food, water and duel disk in there!
The leader’s expression went from mocking to serious.
- Listen, girly! We only want that bag, if you give it to me, we’ll leave you alone.
Even though his expression was serious, I did not believe his words. I doubt such petty things like these could satisfy him and his group enough to leave me alone. Besides this bag is the only thing I have right now, I can’t give it up so easily.
- I don’t believe you! I won’t give it to you!
The big man chuckled and snapped his finger. Gang started to draw in closer to me.
- Don’t say that I didn’t give you a chance!
This is worst possible thing that could happen. It’s as if your life just started and it already has to end. Will I really never have the chance to regain my memories?
- STOP! – some voice shouted loud just before the gang could surround me completely. Then another group of people came from all possible directions. There were 5 of them total, 3 guys and 2 girls, but unlike this gang, all were dressed in normal clothes and all were no older then 20.
I noticed as one of guys from the new group looked at me with surprised expression for a split second. Then everything happened very fast. The leader of “Dirty Gang” shouted out order to scatter. Chaos began. Everyone tried to get away from the street as fast as possible, but new gang tried to block their way. Before I could notice it the youngest one of group tackled me to ground and tried to get bag of my shoulders. One guy from new gang quickly ran to help me out. He pulled the boy away from me, but he refused to let go of my bag. I was desperately trying to keep it on my shoulders. When other gang members came to help me out, boy finally let go of bag and quickly ran away.
Once I got on my feet again no one of “Dirty Gang” was around anymore. All of 5 of my rescuers were now standing around me with bit worried expressions on their faces.
- Are you not hurt? – asked one of girls. She was slightly taller then me, had short, black hair, beautiful, blue eyes and kind-looking face.
- No, I’m alright. Thank you for helping me!
- It’s no problem. My name is Laila. This is Marie. – she pointed at girl with delicately built body, nice smile, and mid-long, blond hair. Marie looked very kind and smiled at me once she was introduced.
My name is Sky and this is my buddy Nicolas, Nico for short. – said guy with spiky, brown hair, brown eyes and well-built body while pointed at guy standing on the right from him. He was slightly taller then Sky, had short, light brown hair, grey eyes and kind expression. I looked at last member of group that hasn’t introduced himself yet. He was taller then all other members, had black, short hair, green eyes and serious expression. But before he could say anything, Laila already started talking.
- That’s Gary. He might be bit sour sometimes, but don’t mind him, he’s a really nice guy actually. What’s your name?
Now situation became awkward. There was about half a minute of unpleasant silence and then Sky spoke.
- What’s wrong? Can’t you tell us your name?
- I would….but… I don’t know my name….
Everyone was really surprised and I don’t blame them. It’s not every day when someone claims that he/she doesn’t know his/her own name. Marie looked like she was surprised the most of all.
- How can you not know your own name?
- Well, I kind of have amnesia.
- Amnesia, that explains a lot. And how long do you have it? – asked Gary and others looked bit surprised that he spoke but they didn’t say anything.
- I’m not sure, but no more then hour I think. I woke up right there in that alleyway, not too far away.
- That means you have no place to stay. – said Laila, - hmmm, why don’t you stay with Gary for now, he has free room in his apartment. If that’s fine with you, Gary?
- Yeah, I’m fine with that.
- Is that okay with you? - asked Sky.
- Yes, of course, I'm only glad I get a place to stay. I think I would be gone by now if not for you guys.
- You treating us too well. We just helped you, that's what any normal person would do. - said Laila while showing me brilliant smile.
- I don't think those guys over there would have helped. – I said while pointing in direction to one alleyway where some of “Dirty Gang” hid. Everyone laughed at this comment. After that we decided to all go home so I followed Gary to his apartment. It was in some kind of alleyway but I don't think this place had anything else then those. His apartment surely wasn't big, it had only two rooms, bathroom and a kitchen. However it was very cozy, warm and comfortable. I think anyone would feel at home in here.
Gary never showed me his room, however he did show me the other room. I don't know why but I had the strangest feeling that I belong here. As if this room was mine. But that's just ridiculous. If me and Gary lived in one apartment I'm sure he would have told me and I'm sure he wouldn't forget the person he's living in one apartment with. Unless he has amnesia just like I do, but I doubt that.
It turns out that in this room once lived a friend of Gary's but now she is gone missing. All her stuff and clothes are still in room and Gary said it's fine if I use them. I won't use them thought because that would be simply rude to last owner of these things. Well, I only use some of her clothes because only clothes I had were the one's I woke up with and they were pretty dirty already. I'm sure she wouldn't mind because you can always wash clothes and make them clean again.
While I was changing my dirty clothes, Gary already left apartment. After I was done changing, I went to kitchen, because I was bit hungry. I found a note on table: “You can take any food you like. I won’t be back until late so you can explore this building a little but whatever you do, don’t leave the yard. It’s dangerous further out. I suggest you go duel with some kids, they do that in evening. – Gary”
I decided to eat first. I looked first in shelves and then in refrigerator and found all kind of food for any taste. In the end I chose to warm up little piece of chicken and some juice. For a while I just looked around apartment so I could easily find things I need. However, soon I found myself bored and time was only 17:35 which is too early to go to bed.
In the end I decided to listen to Gary’s advice and go to yard. It wasn’t very big and very beautiful for sure. It had all kind of flowers, fruit trees and big wooden wall around it. It smelled really nice and was certainly a good change from all the junk. Just like Gary said children were dueling in free spot in middle of this garden. They even all had duel disk and could play will all holograms which must be a great pleasure to kids.
As I walked into garden, all children stopped playing and looked at me. They whispered a little at first but then smiled and came to greet me.
- Hey, Gary told us that you have amnesia is that true? – asked cute little girl with big, blue eyes and short wavy hair.
- I’m afraid so, little one! – all kids looked at each other but sad but then they cheered up.
- I’m sure you’ll regain your memory again.
- I really do hope so.
- How about we duel? – offered little boy with confidence in his voice. I had taken duel disk with me so why not duel him?
- Sure, let’s duel.

Chapter 3.

After finding out names of all children, it was time for duel to begin. Turns out that the boys name who I was dueling me is Jeremy, Jerry for short. He looked very excited about the duel and so was I. First of all, I would find out what kind of monsters I use in duels and maybe they would bring some memories back.
- Since you have lost your memory I will let you go first but don’t think I will go easy on you! – said Jerry while smiling at me across the field which in this case was lawn in middle of garden.
- Okay! I’ll start. – I drew 6 cards and carefully looked at them and saw that monsters were either Dragon type or Winged-beast type. At first cards were unfamiliar to me but when looked in more closely I could remember their effects.
- Did you remember something? – asked one of smallest girls called Elizabeth, Lisa for short.
- Yeah, I know these cards. I actually remember their effects! – All children cheered. They were all happy that I got even slightest hint of memory back.
- I’ll start the duel then! I activate Field Spell – Dragon Ravine! – Scenery around us changed and we found ourselves in middle of ravine which had dragons flying up high in sky. All children were amazed by this sight.
- Now I set monster face-down and end my turn.
- Okay, it’s my turn now! I draw! – Jerry’s excitement seemed to grow by each second. – I’ll summon Gene-Warped Warwolf and attack your set monster.
My Dragunity Darkspear gets destroyed but I only smile and Jerry smiles as well.
- Now I’ll set one card face-down and end my turn!
- My turn, draw! – I look at my cards carefully before making my move. – I activate effect of Dragon Ravine, by sending one card to from hand to graveyard I can send one card from deck to graveyard. I discard Dragunity Aklys and send Red-Eyes Wyvern to graveyard.
- That was a totally useless move!
- Oh, you’ll see…. – I smiled. – I set a monster and end my turn.
- This is kind of disappointing. I wanted a real duel. My turn! Draw! I summon tuner monster Attack Gainer. Now I tune my level 1 Attack Gainer with level 4 Gene-Warped Warwolf to Synchro Summon Magical Android!
- Yei, Jerry managed to Synhro Summon! – all children cheered for their friend, but they did not know what I have in mind.
- Magical Android, attack the set monster.
- Your attack won’t go through, because my set monster is Stardust Xiaolong. Once per turn it won’t be destroyed by battle!
- I knew you would have something in your mind. I end my turn.
- My turn, draw! I activate effect of Dragon Ravine! I discard Delta Flyer to send Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to graveyard. Now I set a card and end my turn.
- Okay, my…
- Not so fast! During my End Phase I activate effect of Red-Eyes Wyvern in my graveyard. I can banish it from my graveyard to Special Summon a “Red-Eyes” monster from my grave. And I summon Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon! – A black dragon with metallic skin and eyes red as blood flew down from the sky to take place next to me. Children were amazed by power of this monster.
- That... that doesn’t scare me at all! I’ll still win! My turn! Draw! – Jerry now didn’t look as confident as before, I could see that he didn’t know what to do about my dragon. – I’ll change Magical Android to Defense, set a monster and end my turn.
- My turn, draw! I use effect of Dragon Ravine, I discard Dragunity Pilum to send Dragunity Arma Mystletainn from deck to graveyard. Now I activate effect of Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon. Once per turn I can Special Summon one Dragon-type monster from my hand or graveyard. I choose to summon Dragunity Arma Mystletainn.
- Oh wow, she’s an amazing duelist. – said one of the kids.
- Now Mystletainn attack Magical Android! – Magical Android stands no chance against Mystelainn and is sent to graveyard.
- Darkness Metal Dragon attack that set monster. – Set monster reveals to be Big Shield Guardna, and even though its Defense is 2600, it’s not enough to stop Darkness Metal Dragon, so it is sent to graveyard as well.
- I end my turn. – Jerry looks even more worried now then he was before.
- My turn, draw! – Suddenly his expression changed and he started smiling. – You’re a good player but it’s time to end this! I activate my Spell card – Dark Hole! It destroys ALL monsters on the field.
- No way! – I didn’t expect him to have such a card and I don’t have any trap to defend with.
- Now, I activate my Trap card – Birthright! With it I can revive one Normal Monster from my graveyard and equip it with this card. I choose to summon Gene-Warped Warwolf. Next I summon tuner monster Rose, Warrior of Revenge. Now I attack with both of my monsters directly! – My life points quickly went down from 4000 to 1300. If I don’t do something I will lose next turn.
- But that’s not all! I tune level 4 Rose, Warrior of Revenge and level 4 Gene-Warped Warwolf to Synchro Summon Colossal Fighter. I end my turn, try and beat this now!
- My turn! Draw! – Before looking at card, I hope that my deck will not let me down on this first duel. I slowly reveal the card to myself. Monster Reborn! This is exactly what I need.
- I activate Spell card - Monster Reborn. It allows me to revive one monster from graveyard and I choose Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon! Next, I activate effect of my dragon in order to bring back Dragunity Arma Mystletainn!
- Even if you get those monsters back, they are no match for my Colossal Fighter. It gains 100 ATK for each Warrior-type monster in graveyard and right now there are two so its total Attack power is 3000. – I hate to admit it but he is right, I don’t have monster powerful enough to beat him. I carefully look at my cards. I don’t know what should I do.
- Just give up, you won’t win! You don’t have enough power! – That is when vision struck me like a lighting. A powerful dragon from hell itself arises from ashes. I can see its power and its beauty. At next second my vision has ended. I now see what I must do!
- I summon tuner monster Dragunity Phalanx.
- You really think that little thing can do something to my Colossal Fighter.
- He can’t! But this Synchro monster can! I tune my level 2 Dragunity Phalanx with my Level 6 Dragunity Arma Mystletainn! – I can feel the power of my dragon, I feel blood pulsing through my veins like river of fire, I remember the chant, I remember myself!
- The rulers heartbeat will flow through air! Behold how burning flame takes shape of power. Synchro Summon! My very soul, Red Dragon Archfiend! – the fierce and powerful dragon of hell arises right next to my side. I know that this monster is my heart and it holds key to my victory.
- It doesn’t matter…. You still can’t win! Our monster Attack power is equal now! – But despite his words Jerry looked frightened.
- Not for long! I activate my set Spell – Dragon Mastery! Once per turn I can equip one monster with Dragon-Type “Dragunity” monster from my hand. I equip Red Dragon Archfiend with Dragunity Bradistock!
- That doesn’t change anything!
- Oh, I believe it does! You see Dragon Mastery has another effect. All monsters that have Dragunity monster equipped to them gains 500 ATK.
- No way!
- Now Red Dragon Archfiend, attack Colossal Fighter! – Colassal Fighter has no chance against my dragon so it perishes and Jerry’s life points decrease to 4100, since his Magical Android gave him extra 600 life points.
- Darkness Metal Dragon, your turn! Attack directly! – Jerry’s life points drop to 1300.
- I will get you next turn!
- Next turn?! There is no next turn!
- What do you mean? You don’t have any monster left to attack with.
- Yes, I do! You see when Dragunity Bradistock is equipped to monster, that monster can attack twice during Battle Phase!
- NO!
- Red Dragon Archfiend, attack! Absolute Power Force! – Jerry’s life points reach 0 and with that the duel field vanishes.
- That was a great duel, Jerry! I hope we can duel again! – I smiled at little boy who was little sour about his loss. But he cheered up once I said these words.
- I will beat you next time for sure!
- I look forward to that, but now I shall head back to apartment.
- Come play with us again tomorrow!
- I surely will! And thank you, Jerry! I managed to remember my name thanks to this duel! – Children looked very shocked at first but then they were so proud that they helped me return small piece of my memory.
- What is your name then? – Curiously asked girl named Mina.
- My name is Ageha!

Chapter 4.

Next morning when I woke up, Gary was already sitting in kitchen, waiting for me. He offered me some toast for breakfast which tasted really good.
- Did you go to play with children yesterday? – He asked while drinking a cup of coffee. He offered me some as well, but I refused since coffee tasted nasty for me.
- Yes, I did. While dueling them I remembered my deck and my name! – Gary didn’t look surprised however he did show a little smile.
- That’s really good, so what is your name and what deck do you use?
- My name is Ageha and how about you see my deck in duel?
- Sure, I bet it will be fun to duel you, but first we have to meet up with everyone. Laila said that we have something important to discuss. Just in case take your duel disk and deck with you.
- Okay, let’s go then! – Without hesitating we took our duel disks and started walking towards our destination – Laila’s hideout. It took us about 15 minutes to get there and when we arrived everyone was already there.
- Oh, finally you two are here. Come and sit down, we need to discuss some things.
- Just before we start. – Interrupted Gary. – You should all now that her name is Ageha. She remembered it yesterday in duel.
- That’s really awesome that you remembered your name, Ageha. – Happily said Sky. – I’m sure it will be a lot of fun to duel you!
- As I was saying, we have something important to discuss. Ageha, you need to know this as well, because maybe your past is somehow connected to this. – said Laila with serious tone in her voice. Nobody dared to interrupt her now and I just nodded my head as answer. Everyone sat down and carefully listened to Laila.
- As you know, the center of city has been taken over by Pandemonium Arc. That is why we must stay here in old part of city in order to stay safe. Pandemonium Arc puts in lockdown anyone who dares to disobey them. They enslave people to do their bidding; children were taken away from their parents because they wanted someone to entertain them!
And yet there’s nothing we can do to stop them! They got their hands on ancient relict - Book of Sunrise! It gives them power to make duels real! They summon real monsters and when they attack real damage is inflicted to people. Unfortunately, many people have already died at their hands. And what’s worse of all that they use only those chants that make their monsters real, meaning that their opponent’s monster is nothing more then a hologram. I say that we have to stop this madness and we will!
I have made a plan how we will sneak into their headquarters and steal Book of Sunrise! I know it won’t be easy, but I investigated everything possible including traps and codes set to protect The Book. I already gave role to all of you depending on your abilities. Marie you will be main distraction for guards!
- Got it! I’ll make sure they are distracted from their duty! – Marie smiled and looked like she actually wanted to do that.
- Nico, when we get it, you will have get rid of those guards who will spot us!
- Okay, I’ll simply make them forget who they are! – Nicolas said with a tiny smirk on his face.
- Sky, your task is to break all the codes and password they have installed!
- No problem! – He looked very confident, so I guess he was a hacker.
- Gary, you have to deactivate all traps so we can get in safe!
- I will get it done! – Gary’s expression as always didn’t change.
- And, Ageha!
- Me?! – I was very surprised that they put me on job as well.
- Yes, in case something goes wrong and we are challenged to duel, you’ll be the one dueling! – For a moment there was complete silence in room. I was a… decoy. Gary then woke up from like a little shock and instantly jumped up.
- Are you crazy?! You’re asking her to sacrifice her life for us!
- Calm down, Gary! I wouldn’t ask that if I didn’t know what she is capable of. Yesterday I saw her dueling. None of us has cards as strong as hers! If someone can actually beat those punks then it’s her!
- How the hell can you suit her dueling abilities from one duel against a CHILD?!
- SHE HAS RED DRAGON ARCHFIEND! – Suddenly all the screaming vanished and everything went quiet. I noticed as everyone looked at me. After some time Nico finally broke the silence.
- If she has Red Dragon Archfiend then I’m sure she can win! We should let her do it, Gary! – He said almost whispering. Gary still didn’t look very pleased.
- It’s Ageha’s choice not mine. – Once again all attention was on me. I have to help them. People suffer because of Pandemonium Arc, they must be stopped.
- I will help! – Laila smiled and everyone except for Gary looked pleased with my decision.
- Okay, we will put our plan in action this night!
- Already today?! – Marie looked very surprised by the speed of events.
- Yes, today is perfect day to sneak in, because leaders won’t be in headquarters this night. The security will be looser then it usually is. Now everyone go and get ready! We will meet in our city hideout near headquarters. – After that everyone went in their own direction, except for me and Gary, since we live in one apartment. We didn’t talk, because we both were too busy thinking about our role in all of this.
Once in apartment I went straight back to my room. I looked at deck for hours thinking of all possible strategies. However, there was one thing that got me wondering. While exploring my deck I decided to look into my backpack to check if there are any more cards in there. I found one tuner monster which had fallen deeper into my back, but once I read its effect I found it completely useless. I didn’t have Synchro monster that would match this tuner.
I didn’t get to think much longer because Gary already was calling me out. It was time to go. I quickly put all cards together, but before leaving I looked back on bed. That beautiful yet useless monster card was lying there. I don’t know what hit me then but I quickly took it and put it into my deck.
The time has come!

Chapter 5.

The center city was completely different from that junk city where now most people were living. Buildings were all big and beautiful, there were many skyscrapers and everything was shining in beautiful lights. However, streets were empty except for few luxury cars and guards.
We of course didn’t use main roads. We were going through alleyways and park to avoid meeting any people. After trip through city which we think lasted forever but was no more then 10 minutes, we finally reached main Headquarters. Hideout was hidden in park just across the street of Headquarters under ground.
Laila and Marie were already waiting for everyone there and after while Sky and Nico showed up as well.
- Okay, so everyone’s here now. I got everyone these special black costumes. With these it will be harder for anyone to spot you and nobody will reorganize you with face covered. – explained Laila and handed us the special black suits that cover all body from head to toe. Without any hesitation we all except for Laila and Marie put on suits ready to start our mission.
- Laila, but what are you going to do in this mission? You never told us. – Asked Sky.
- I prepared this special map that shows all traps and places with codes. Also it will show you easiest way to get to The Book. However, I have only two maps. One will stay here with me so I can lead you in case something goes wrong. I’ll give second one to Ageha, because it will be easier to use it with duel disk. – Laila took second map and put it in my duel disk. Also she put a little microphone in our ear so we could get in contact with her. With her map, Laila can see where we are and even notice some of guards.
- Is everyone ready? – Laila asked us all.
- You bet we are! – Playfully said Sky and we all smiled in approval.
- Okay, then let’s start! Marie, you’re up first! – Commanded Laila and Marie left the hideout. We all watched through window what will she do. Marie slowly went closer and closer to guards. When one of them noticed Marie he went up to her and started talking something we couldn’t hear from so far away. One thing was certain, the guard wasn’t happy with Marie being so close to Headquarters.
We were really worried about Marie there, because guards without a doubt are dangerous. Then it seemed like Marie changed tactic, she started crying. All three guards run up to her and tried to calm her down. This is our chance!
With Gary in front, me, Sky and Nico snuck across the street to gate. Once again making sure that guards are distracted, Gary climbed over the wall. Since I couldn’t climb over myself, Nico lifted me up higher so Gary can reach me and get me over. When we got over wall, we saw that there was nothing but big lawn in there. That was strange; I was expecting dogs and loads of guards. I felt as Gary poked me and showed me at my duel disk. That’s right, the map! Maybe there are some traps.
I opened the map and Gary was right. Whole lawn was covered with traps. Gary took a careful look at them and then showed us to follow him. But before I could follow Gary, Nico put me on his shoulder and quietly whispered.
- It will be better if less of us walk on lawn; chance of activating trap then is lower. – I just nodded my head in answer and looked how Gary carefully took each step. Sky and Nico followed exactly in Gary’s steps and after some time we finally got over trap field. We were in front of back entrance now and luckily there were no guards here. I checked map and saw that door was protected with password. It was Sky’s time to work. He took out little computer and connected it to the door. After 5 minutes of silence and sound of Sky hitting computer keys, door finally opened. Sky smiled and we all went inside building.
- Ageha, can you hear me? – It was Laila talking into microphone in my ear.
- Yes, I hear you well! – I answered as quietly as I could.
- Good. I just found shortcut to the room where The Book is hidden. Path is covered in traps but Gary should be able to avoid them. – I listened to Laila’s further directions and drew the way in the map. It really was much shorter then the one she originally showed me. Gary again took lead and we followed in his steps.
After what seemed forever, we finally were in front of the room where The Book was hidden. However, there were 4 guards in front of room guarding it. What are we suppose to do now? There’s no way we can beat them all, before they activate alarm. I saw as Sky and Nico smiled at each other. Don’t tell me they were actually going to do it?! I grabbed their shoulders trying to stop them, but Sky just whispered.
- Thrust us! – I helpfully watched as both them emerged into combat. It was surprisingly fast. Guards barely managed to notice Nico and Sky when they both have already beaten up them all. I and Gary went to the room and saw that the door in front of it was impossible to destroy so the only way to open it was to crack the code. Once again Sky took out his computer started to do what he does the best.
Half hour had already passed but Sky still hasn’t cracked all the codes on door. He already broke 20 codes but there were still more. We do not know how long will this take, so we just looked out for guard while Sky was working.
After 10 more minutes door finally opened. However, this wasn’t the end. When I looked into map I saw that room was full with traps. After some calculation Gary showed not so happy face.
- I’m afraid only one of us will be able to enter the room. – He said in whisper.
- What do you mean? – Just as quietly asked Nico.
- This room has too many traps. To get pass you have to step on at least one of them. The safest one to step on is this one! – Said Gary while showing on one of traps in map.
- That is weight traps. When certain amount of weight is pushed on it, it will open and send the culprit to hell. – Explained Gary.
- How is that the safest trap?! – Angrily asked Sky.
- It’s safest because if someone who is lighter then 50 kilograms steps on it, it won’t activate. – Everyone then instantly looked at me.
- Eh? Me? But I’m not sure if I’m that light.
- We can always find that out! – Said Nico and lifted me up like a dog.
- I would say that she’s somewhere around 50 kilograms, hard to say is it more or less.
- Well, I guess I have no choice then. I’m going in! – Nico put me back on ground and Gary carefully explained how to get pass all traps.
When finally everything was clear I emerged in “mine” field. I stepped just like Gary had explained to me, to avoid the deadly traps. Gary, Sky and Nico were watching my steps and I could tell that they were really worried. I was half way across the room and now the weight trap was in front of me. There’s no other way to get further if you want to stay alive. I took deep breath and stepped on trap. This second lasted for what seems forever. Only after a short while I realized that trap didn’t activate. Everyone let out relieved sigh and I continued my way to The Book.
Rest of way was much easier and it didn’t take long to get to book. It was however weird that it was just standing there on table. Usually such valuable things would be hidden. But I guess they didn’t expect anyone to get this far. I reached out and took The Book, but the same second I lifted it up from table, alarm went off. Instantly, I could hear as steps of guards coming from all direction.
- Ageha, RUN! – Screamed out Sky and I without thinking ran across the room. On my way out I activated all possible traps but they either activated another alarm or simply didn’t hit me because of speed I was running at.
When I reached room entrance, I gave The Book to Gary.
- Get it out of here no matter what! – And as I said these words Gary started running towards exit of Headquarters. Then Nico grabbed me and together with Sky followed Gary to exit.
When I looked back I saw that at least 15 guards were chasing us.
- Faster! They will catch us! – I screamed out and everyone started running faster. Luckily, Gary was bit in front of us, so I’m sure he could escape. However, just when we reached the exit, we saw that many guards were already there, waiting for culprit to show up.

Chapter 6.

We were now surrounded by guards from all possible sides. Only way to escape was to fly, but we didn’t have any flying devices. Then some guard with differently colored uniform then others came in front of crowd to face us.
- Well, well, well. What do we have here? Few rats that are trying to steal our grain. – He said and whole bunch of guards started to laugh.
- I’m in good mood today so how about we do this? You give me back The Book and I’ll spare your pathetic lives and imprison you in jail until the end of your days.
- No way! – We all said at once. Even if we die, we must not hand over The Book.
- Hahaha! What a nice joke! Okay, enough fooling around, hand over The Book! – For moment everyone laughed but then guards expressions grew serious. We have to somehow get The Book to Laila. Our hideout is just across the street but we won’t be able to throw The Book so far away because it is simply too heavy. Suddenly, idea ran into my mind.
- Let’s duel! – I called out to the main guard. He laughed for a bit and all I could do was hope that he would agree to my offer.
- Duel a little girl? I have no patience to waste time on you! – He activated his duel disk and despite what he said it looked like he accepted my challenge.
- I summon Montage Dragon! – This is when I realized I was wrong. He activated duel disk in order to summon a monster to get rid of us. But I cannot give up now. Even if this monster can really kill me, I shall not back down. Quickly I backed away a little and whispered to Gary, Sky and Nico so guards couldn’t hear us.
- I’ll make distraction now! You guys run to hideout and whatever you do don’t look back. – I saw that Gary wants to protest but I stopped him before he could say anything. I know I’m sacrificing my life right now, but this is the only way.
- Don’t think that you’re the only one can summon real monsters! I had The Book long enough to figure out this trick! – I screamed out so guards could hear me. They started murmuring between themselves, obviously worried.
- You’re just bluffing! – said the main guard.
- See for yourself then! Arise, Red Dragon Archfiend! – I activated my duel disk and summoned my ultimate monster. Obviously it was just a hologram but it was the looks of dragon that scared the guards. Red Dragon Archfiend flew right into crowd of guards and they scattered in all directions screaming. Nico, Gary and Sky quickly used the free path created by fake dragon to get out of this mess. Some guards tried to stop them, but Nico quickly dealt with them. As for other guards they were still too scared of Red Dragon Archfiend to do anything.
- Montage Dragon attack Red Dragon Archfiend! – Quickly screamed out main guard. Montage Dragon let out giant burst of flame out of each of its three heads. However when they were about to make contact with Red Dragon Archfiend it just went through him, ruining half of yard and killing some of guards.
- Fools! It’s just a hologram! – Angrily yelled main guard however it was too late. Gary and others have already disappeared in darkness.
You’re going to pay for this, you stupid girl! – Enraged guard turned to me. I could see that Montage Dragon was floating above his head, waiting for order.
- Montage Dragon, turn that girl into dust! – This was the end for me, however, I managed to help Laila and others to obtain the book. My death won’t go in vain.
Montage Dragon released deadly fire stream towards me. I didn’t even move, because it was pointless. However, before stream could reach me I saw as beautiful, shimmering, light blue dragon flew over sky and protected me from it.
- What?! Impossible! – Shocked yelled out main guard. Then light blue dragon carefully lifted me up and flew away from all this mess. I was scared of this flight, but I knew that dragon meant to help me so I just let it carry me.
After short while it landed in some park further away from Headquarters. Alarms filled the city but I was safe and out of their reach. After few moments dragon disappeared and I found myself alone in the dark. Then I felt as someone wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into hug. I felt as slight blush bloomed on my cheeks.
- Ageha, thank God, I was just in time to save you! What are you thinking disappearing for a whole year and now reappearing in Main Headquarters?! – Person let me out of hug and I saw young man with short black hair, blue eyes and worried look on his face. Could it be that I know this man? And if so then who is he to me?
- Ageha, don’t just stand there quiet. Say something! – I was confused and I really didn’t know what to say in this situation.
- Um…. I’m sorry…. I have amnesia so…. I don’t remember who you are. – I quietly whispered, because if he really was close to me I might hurt him by saying this. And I was right, I could see a tiny hint of pain in man’s eyes.
- You lost all your memories… – He said more to himself then to me. Then once again he gently wrapped his hands around me.
- It’s okay, I’m sure you’ll soon remember everything. I will… - Man couldn’t finish his sentence because suddenly from behind my back I could hear Gary yell out angrily.
- Get your dirty pawns of her! – Man automatically let me go and I saw that everyone were there with Gary. Gary looked really angry and so did the others. Young man next to me just chuckled.
- If it isn’t Gary himself, how nice to meet you again!

Chapter 7.

- I really hoped that I would never see you again, but as always you appear just when nobody asked for it, you punk! – Angrily said Gary. I wonder what happened between them that they hate each other so much.
- Leave now! We don’t want you here, you’re only going to make trouble! – Gary said and I honestly don’t know what was going on.
- Talk for yourself, puff! If it wasn’t for me now, Ageha would be dead! You call yourself a friend leaving her behind like that! – Now man sounded very angry and for moment I thought he would simply start beating Gary up. I think I need to calm these two down.
- No, it’s not like that! I said them to leave me behind so they can escape with The Book! – Instantly man’s expression grew warm. He wrapped one hand around my shoulder and kissed my forehead. Once again I could feel my cheeks getting hot. I was glad it was dark so no one could see it. However, Gary got even angrier when man did this.
- Even with amnesia, you’re still you. That is exactly why you have to be protected. You’re always ready to sacrifice yourself for others even if that is avoidable. – Said young man. I could see Gary glaring at him.
- Leave now! – Gary yelled out. Young man just smiled.
- How about we settle this in a duel? If I win, I will stay with Ageha, but if you win, I will leave.
- Sounds fine by me. There’s no way someone like you could beat me. – Confidently said Gary and somehow I had a feeling that Gary would lose this duel, but I said nothing.
- You can start then, Gary! – Said the man with a smile on his face.
- Okay! I draw! I’ll set monster face-down, set a card and end my turn. – Gary looked very confident in his ability, but the dragon which saved me before… it must be strong, can Gary beat it?
- My turn now! Draw! I summon Dodger Dragon and attack your set monster!
- Ha! Just as I thought! My monster is Heroic Challenger Sword Shield! Its DEF is higher then Dodger Dragon’s ATK so you take 100 damage!
- If you seriously think that scares me then you’re wrong. – The man smiled and I noticed as he glanced at me as if waiting for me to do something. – I set two cards face-down and end my turn.
- My turn! I draw! I summon Heroic Challenger Spartas! Now I shall create Overlay network with Spartas and Sword Shield! Xyz Summon! Appear, Heroic Champion Excalibur!
- What summon? – Bit surprised me and young man asked at same time. I have never seen summon like that. Then again I don’t remember anything about my past, but judging by faces of people around, this is first time for them seeing something like this as well.
- Xyz Summon! This is new power which I have gained while searching for…. my friend. No Synchro monster will ever stand a chance against Xyz monster! Now I activate Excalibur’s effect! By detaching two Xyz Material monsters I can double its ATK until the End Phase of your turn. Heroic Challenger Excalibur attack Dodger Dragon! Bravery Slash! – Dodger Dragon doesn’t stand a chance and young man takes a lot of damage that makes his Life Points drop to 1800.
- Heh! You will regret that you came here! I end my turn! – Gary looks very pleased; however it doesn’t look like his opponent is worried about such damage. I wonder what does he have in mind?
- My turn, draw. Well, I have to admit that you did surprise me a little with your Xyz monster, but it won’t help you much! I activate my Trap card – Call of the Haunted! It allows me to summon one monster from my graveyard and I think you already know which one it is! Come back, Dodger Dragon! – Little dragon once again appears on field.
- Ageha, I’ll use the power you gave me now! – The man said with gentle expression on his face. Have I given him a card?
- I remove from play Dodger Dragon to Special Summon – Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from my hand!
Instanly memory flashed back into my mind.
“Since you are going to use dragons just like me now, I’ll give you this card.” I said to the man. “Eh, is it okay for me to take this card? It’s very rare and you got only two of them.”He said quite shocked about my decision. “It’s fine! You’re my precious friend and I want you to have this!”
- No way! That really is Ageha’s card! You liar, you must have stole it from her! – Angrily yelled out Gary.
- No… I really did give him this card… - I said quietly, but everyone heard me better then they heard Gary’s yell.
- Why would you give it to him? – Said Gary still bit angry.
- I’m not sure. I just remembered as I gave it to him.
- I’m really glad that you regained bit of your memory! – Said young man while smiling. – Now I shall finish this duel! If this was duel just for fun, then Gary, I might have given you the chance to fight a little, but when it concerns Ageha, I can’t go easy on you anymore!
- Why, you!!!! Don’t underestimate me! I will win for sure! – Yelled out Gary in anger. Nor I, nor Gary’s friend had ever seen him so much out of his character.
- We will see that! I use Spell Card – Graceful Charity! It allows me to draw three cards and then discard two. I’ll discard Little Flare Dragon and Delta Flyer.
- Wasn’t Graceful Charity banned card? – Curiously asked Marie.
- No, it recently became limited to one card per deck. – Explained Laila.
- Now then, I use effect of Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to summon Tuner monster Delta Flyer from my graveyard. Next I summon Blizzard Dragon from my hand. I’ll use effect of Delta Flyer and increase level of Blizzard Dragon by one.
- Oh, so you’ll summon that pathetic monster of yours! – Said Gary with a little grin on his face.
- You’ll see! I tune Level 3 Delta Flyer with Level 5 Blizzard Dragon! Clustering wishes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon! Take flight, Stardust Dragon! – This is the same monster that saved me. It really does look amazing, as if it really is made out of stars.
- But that’s not all! I use Little Flare Dragon’s effect from my graveyard! If I have Level 5 or higher Dragon-type monster I can Special summon it!
- I don’t know what you’re up to, but it won’t work!
- I’m afraid it will! I use Spell Card – Double Summon! It allows me to Normal Summon once more during this turn! I summon Tuner Monster Majestic Dragon! – Somehow I had a feeling I knew this little cute monster.
- Ha! That little useless thing won’t help you at all! – Confidently said Gary.
- I think it will help me well. Ageha, watch closely! I tune Level 1 Majestic Dragon with Level 1 Little Flare Dragon and Level 8 Stardust Dragon! Gathering starlights will enlighten a new miracle! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon! Arrive in light, Majestic Star Dragon! – Dragon was really like miracle! It was beautiful and shining in all colors of rainbow! I knew that I had seen it before but I don’t remember when.
- Now I’ll use effect of Majestic Star Dragon! With it I can negate effect of one of your monsters and I negate Excalibur!
- No way!!! That means its ATK is back to 2000.
- Exactly! Majestic Star Dragon attack Heroic Challenger Excalibur! Stardust Storm!!! – Once again some memory flashed into my mind and without thinking I ran to field!
- Stop!!! – I yelled out while trying to block Majestic Star Dragon’s attack,
- Majestic Star Dragon, STOP! – At same second yelled out the man.
- Ageha, are you crazy running onto field like that! – Yelled Laila.
- I’m not! There’s no need for you two to duel anymore!
- What do you mean? – Asked confused Gary. I faced the young man who looked just as confused as all the others.

Chapter 8.

After stopping the duel, I managed to convince Gary and the others that Ryusei is my friend and that he can be trusted. I still don’t remember much about him but I do know that he is an important comrade. Besides, now we could use all the help we could get.
Now main problem was getting back to side city were we would be further away from Pandemonium Arc. Even now when the head of group isn’t in city, it is already noisy. Alarm and police car lights are coming from all possible directions.
Quietly we sneaked around in dark, avoiding all the flashy lights and guards. As I found out on our way Laila now has The Book. After around an hour we managed to get out of main city. We all decided to meet at our hideout tomorrow. Everyone was tired, so we headed back home. And since Ryusei originally stayed in hotel, he will now stay in Gary’s apartment. Gary obviously was displeased about this decision, but Ryusei refused to stay anywhere else. I bet he must have really missed me this year when I had gone missing.
Next morning all three of us quickly ate breakfast and headed towards the hideout. But now we had to be careful even here. Alarms were now much closer to side town then it was yesterday, meaning that most likely head of Pandemonium Arc already knows that The Book is missing.
Soon we reached the hideout. Everyone was already there, waiting for our arrival. Laila smiled at me when she saw me.
- Listen up, everyone! – Laila said. – Thanks to Ageha we yesterday managed to steal The Book from Pandemonium Arc. – At this note Sky cheered up and Ryusei patted my shoulder.
- However! – There Laila’s voice tone grew dark and serious. – We can no longer stay in this city! It is only a matter of time before they find us here!
- So what should we do? – I asked.
- We must go to the only place which is free from Pandemonium Arc’s command. – Declared Laila while carefully looking into our eyes.
- Does such place even exist? There’s no way any city could fight against Pandemonium Arc! – Desperately said Marie almost crying.
- There is one - Neo Domino City. We shall head there! – Confidently said Laila, but I wonder how did Neo Domino City resist such powerful group as Pandemonium Arc.
- Oh, yeah! I totally forgot about it! – Said Ryusei while laughing a bit.
- Do you know about it, Ryusei? – I curiously asked him.
- Well, since you have amnesia, you don’t remember it, but both of us were born in Neo Domino City. – He explained to me.
- Well, then you must know why it is safe from Pandemonium Arc. I’ll explain for those who don’t know. You see there’s a team living in that city which had saved the world many times. It’s said that there’s no other team stronger than them and that not even Pandemonium Arc can defeat them! – Laila said.
- Yeah. Team 5D’s! – With smile on his face continued Ryusei.
- I’m not sure if we’ll meet them, but one thing is for sure. We must leave at once. How many of you have D-Wheels? – Laila asked us.
- I and Nico have them! – Answered Sky.
- I have one as well. – Carelessly said Gary.
- I don’t…. – Quietly whispered Marie.
- I don’t have one either. – I answered. Then again maybe I do have D-Wheel, I just don’t remember it.
- Okay, Sky, Nico, Gary, you head towards Neo Domino City right now! – Laila commanded and they instantly left. I guess they must be keeping their D-Wheels hidden somewhere because I did not see D-Wheel anywhere near Gary’s apartment.
- I can take Marie on my D-Wheel, but what about you two? – Laila said worried while pointing at me and Ryusei.
- No worries! Remember, my Stardust Dragon is real so it can carry us there. – Ryusei replied.
- Oh yes! Then it’s all good! Ageha, here! – Laila handed me some kind of wooden box. It was quite big and heavy, around 2 kilograms I would say.
- The Book of Sunrise is inside there. I want you to carry it with you. – Laila explained. For a little bit I just starred at box, then I gave Laila warm smile.
- Thank you for trusting me! I will take good care of it!
- I’m sure you will! But now go! We will follow you shortly.
Ryusei and I did as told and left. This time I was not scared of being carried by Stardust Dragon anymore. It was actually quite fun watching all the clouds pass by. At some point I saw three D-Wheels heading towards Neo Domino City and I guess it was no one else then Sky, Nico and Gary.
- Ryusei, I wanted to ask, how come your Stardust Dragon is real? – I asked.
- Well, let’s say that Pandemonium Arc didn’t originally find The Book of Sunrise. – He replied with tiny smirk on his face.
- Really? Then who had it? – I curiously continued asking him.
- You know the story, you just have to remember it! – Ryusei said while smiling. Then I guess this is not the first time I came in contact with The Book. However, I wonder what had happened in past? If I’m from Neo Domino City as Ryusei claims then will I meet more of my friends there? Do I have parents and siblings there? And what kind of power does team 5D’s hold? Suddenly, Ryusei brought me out me out of my thoughts.
- Look, we’re almost there! – He called out and pointed towards city which had now shown itself at horizon.

Chapter 9.

When we got closer to Neo Domino City I saw that it was split in two parts which were connected by a bridge.
- Ryusei, how come Neo Domino City is split in two ? – I asked, even though I probably know the answer, just I’ve forgotten it.
- You see, around 40 years ago, here was big explosion caused by Momentum, which split main city into two parts: Neo Domino City and Satelite. After 20 years Team 5D’s built a bridge that connected two parts into one big city. – He explained to me.
- What exactly is this Momentum?
- It is the ultimate energy generation system that keeps spinning in one direction to create an endless power supply. The weirdest thing is that Momentum uses power of Duels and Turbo Duels.
- I didn’t know duels have any kind of enegy.
- I myself was surprised once I heard story from my father. – Ryusei said and ruffled my hair lightly while giving me wide smile.
- We should land here. It would be bad if we landed in middle of city while riding Stardust Dragon. – Ryusei said and commanded Stardust Dragon to start landing. It was still some way to go until we reach city, but as he said it wouldn’t be good if someone noticed us riding a real monster.
After a while of walking we noticed one duel runner now heading our way. We thought it was Laila together with Marie so we didn’t pay much attention to it. Only once it came closer we understood that we were in deep trouble. It was no one else then chief of guards from Pandemonium Arc’s headquarters. Ryusei without thinking grabbed my hand and started running towards Neo Domino City. It was only about 100 meters away and yet we could not reach it in time as chief blocked our way with his duel runner.
- You thought that you could simply come in, steal The Book of Sunrise and get out without a scratch! It won’t happen on my watch! I shall bring both of you back to Pandemonium City and torture you to death for doing such crime! – Chief already leaned closer ready to catch us, but we quickly jumped away. Ryusei who was still holding my hand started running and pulling me behind him. Chief however didn’t think for long and chased us with his D-Wheel.
At some point I tripped against a rock and fell to ground. Guard gained speed and for a moment there I thought he will simply ride over my head. But then white wheel-like duel runner tackled guard’s D-Wheel, crashing it into ground. Duelist on white duel runner stopped, jumped off his ride and quickly ran up to me.
- Are you okay, Ageha?! – Duelist said in worried voice. Wait! I recognize this voice. It sounded very warm and caring and somehow close to me. I looked up and saw man with blond hair and white turbo duelist suit on. He looked about 30 years old, but I knew that he was actually older then that.
- Dad? – I called out to him.
- Yes, it’s me! Thank god, you’re alright! – My father gently pulled me up on feet, cleaning dust of my clothes. I noticed as guard also got up on his feet with enraged look on his face.
- Hey, who do you think you are?! – He yelled out towards my father.
- I’m Jack Atlas from Team 5D’s! – He turned around to face chief and confidently said with head lifted high in air.
- Jack Atlas…. Oh no! – Guards courage instantly ran to his heelpiece. He jumped on his half broken D-Wheel and drove away as fast a possible. Dad only laughed as guard left. Then he turned to face me again and gave me a hug.
- Where have you been this year? – He asked obviously worried about me.
- I myself don’t know actually… - I said bit sad.
- What do you mean you don’t know? – Dad was surprised to hear such answer.
- She had amnesia, she remembered me only once she saw Majestic Star Dragon. – Ryusei explained to Jack.
- Once I finally found her, I got to know that she had sneaked into Pandemonium Arc’s Headquarters to steal The Book of Sunrise! I barely managed to get there in time to save her.
- Hahaha! That sounds like you! You don’t know who you are but you’re already being heroic! That’s my daughter! – Jack laughed and gently patted my head.
- So did you manage to steal The Book? – He asked curiously.
- Yes, it’s right here! – I answered while showing the box which Laila had given to me. I could see Dad crying out of blue.
- Dad, what’s wrong? – I asked as he hugged me tighly.
- You’re definitely my daughter. Risking her life to save other people and get The Book of Sunrise. I’m so proud! – This was kind of uncool, but that’s the way my dad was. He cries like this only when he is really touched by someone’s bravery or if someone gives him box of ramen as birthday present. I’m really amazed at that how much he likes ramen.
- Let’s go now! Staying out here for long would be dangerous. – Ryusei said.
- Indeed you’re right! However I can’t take you both on my D-Wheel. I’ll call your father, Ryusei. – Jack replied and quickly dialed some kind of number. He explained situation to Ryusei’s dad, who I still couldn’t remember, so that he would come here with his D-Wheel.
After 10 minutes I saw red duel runner approaching as from city. As I saw it I instantly remembered its owner and everything related to him.
- Uncle Yusei! – I happily said and went to hug black-haired man on red D-Wheel. He smiled at me and returned the hug.
- Ageha, it’s so nice to see that you’re okay! And it’s nice to see you too, son! – Yusei said and waved his hadn towards Ryusei.
- Let’s go back, Yusei! It’s only matter of time before Pandemonium Arc comes back! – Jack exclaimed and we all got on duel runners. Me behind Jack and Ryusei behind Yusei. I always liked how their names rhythms like that.
It didn’t take long before we got back home. All Team 5D’s was living in one big mansion now. That is why I and Ryusei knew each other since childhood. Akiza, Crow, Luna and Leo all came to great me and Ryusei since we haven’t seen each other in long time. My childhood memories were now flowing back into my head like crystal clear river.
When I told everyone about The Book and Pandemonium Arc, Crow instantly called Securities Chief Mina to tighten security in Neo Domino City. We all knew that we had to fight Pandemonium Arc one day but we have to become stronger before that happens. Old Team 5D’s didn’t possess power that they had before. Crimson Dragon had removed their signer marks so only thing left of their power was their monsters.
However, all signer dragons have been given away and now their location is unknown. Only two monsters had already found their path: Stardust Dragon which was now with Ryusei and Red Dragon Archfiend which was now with me. It was a big problem. Even though I and Ryusei can summon Majestic Dragon's we have lost Stardust’s and Archfiend’s strongest forms. It’s not like we lost cards while playing somewhere. Simply cards became blank once again.
- For now we can’t do anything. We have to wait and see if Crimson Dragon will appear again or not. – Yusei said obviously worried about this whole situation.
- Why don’t we use power of The Book? – I asked.
- Because making monsters real is really dangerous power. Many people can get hurt. We must not use The Book unless it’s really necessary. – Explained Akiza which had power to bring cards to life before.
- Wait, I know! Yusei, remember when Crimson Dragon appeared for first time? – Said Jack.
- Yes, it was when we dueled and Stardust Dragon fought Red Dragon Archfiend! – Yusei obviously caught onto Jack’s plan however others were confused.
- Ryusei, Ageha, you must duel each other! – Jack and Yusei said at same time!

Chapter 10.

Ryusei and I were now sitting on our duel runners side by side, ready to start the duel. I myself am still confused how did I end up in turbo duel with him.
Yesterday Jack and Yusei decided that I and Ryusei have to duel each other in order to make Crimson Dragon appear again. However it wasn’t any duel they wanted us to do. It was turbo duel. Yusei thought that only with a turbo duel we can bring back Crimson Dragon.
Honestly, I remember doing turbo duels only few times in my life. Luckily I do remember the rules but that if I succeed to summon Red Dragon Archfiend in time is another story. But I must try, since now only Ryusei and I have the power to bring back Crimson Dragon.
I saw as Yusei lifted up the flag which he uses as signal for duel beginning. I tightly clenched my duel runner, ready to start. Finally, he quickly flashed flag down before us.
- Riding Duel! Accelaration!!! – Both Ryusei and I accelerated with high speed but at first no one gained lead. When corner came closer I pushed gas pedal and managed to get first corner and with that also right to start the duel.
- I’ll start then! – I put my duel runner in autopilot mode and draw 6 cards. Since this is turbo duel we can’t use normal spell cards we can only use Speed Spells. To activate Speed Spells you need right amount of speed counters which you gain during each Stand by Phase.
- I summon Baby Dragon Archfiend, set one card face-down and end my turn!
- My turn! Draw! – Now both of our speed counters are no more, no less then 2. If I have more speed counters I can activate more powerful Speed Spells and effects.
- I summon tuner monster Delta Flyer, set two cards face-down and end my turn!
- My turn! Draw! I summon tuner monster Dragunity Pilum from my hand. Then I activate effect of Turbo Booster from my hand! If I Normal Summoned this turn I can Special Summon it.
- Here it comes! – Ryusei said with a smile on his face.
- Yes! I tune Level 3 Dragunity Pilum with Level 1 Turbo Booster and Level 4 Baby Dragon Archfiend! The ruler’s heartbeat will flow through air! Behold how burning flame takes shape of power. Synchro Summon! My very soul, Red Dragon Archfiend! – My magnificent dragon appeared right next to me following my D-Wheel. I saw my dad smile at Red Dragon Archfiend. He must be very happy to see his ace monster fly freely like this.
- I activate effect of Baby Dragon Archfiend. If it was used to summon Red Dragon Archfiend I can add one tuner monster from Graveyard to my hand. I add Dragunity Pilum. And now Red Dragon Archfiend attack Delta Flyer! Absolute Power Force!
- Don’t think I’ll let you attack me as you want! I activate my Trap – Scrap-Iron Scare Crow! Once per turn I can negate one of your attacks and reset this card!
- He! Not bad! But don’t think it’ll stop me for long! I end my turn!
- My turn, draw! – Now our speed counters were 4. With this we can activate first effect of Speed World. That is we can remove 4 of our Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage to opponent for each Speed Spell in our hand.
- I summon Baby Stardust Dragon! Next I use effect of Delta Flyer to increase level of Baby Stardust Dragon by one! I tune Level 3 Delta Flyer with Level 5 Baby Stardust Dragon. Clustering wishes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon! Take flight, Stardust Dragon! – The beautiful shining dragon appears on field right next to Ryusei. It now shouldn’t be a problem to call out Crimson Dragon.
- I activate effect of Baby Stardust Dragon. If I used it for Synchro Summon of Stardust Dragon, I can draw one new card. That’s it for my turn.
- Okay, my turn draw! It’s time to call the Crimson Dragon! Red Dragon Archfiend attack Stardust Dragon! Absolute Power Force! – We all were now expecting for Crimson Dragon to appear and stop my attack. However…. Nothing happened. Red Dragon Archfiend destroyed Stardust Dragon and Ryusei’s Life points dropped to 3500.
- What? I don’t understand why nothing happened? – Jack was completely shocked and so was Yusei. They both were sure that Crimson Dragon would appear just like it did once before but instead of that nothing happened.
- Maybe Crimson Dragon won’t come again…. Maybe he already knows that nothing can stop Pandemonium Arc and it’s no use fighting…. – Said shocked Yusei with empty expression his face.
- Snap out of it, dad! We mustn’t give up! I don’t care if Crimson Dragon appears or not! I will stop Pandemonium Arc! – Ryusei yelled encouraging us all that way.
- He’s right, Yusei! We mustn’t give up! We were always victorious in past! We must believe in our children! – Jack said as he shook Yusei by his shoulders.
- That’s right! We will never let those punks do what they want! – I agreed and smiled to show that I’m ready to fight!
- I now set monster face-down and end my turn!
- It’s my turn! Draw! – Ryusei carefully looked at card he drew and then looked high up in the sky. I saw his eyes widen as if he got some idea in mind.
- Ageha! We must obtain new power in order to beat Pandemonium Arc! – Ryusei said.
- But how can we do that? – I asked. Did he really figure out a way to beat Pandemonium Arc?
- Watch me carefully! I summon Bright Star Dragon! Now I’ll activate my Trap – Call of The Haunted to resurrect Stardust Dragon! – Ryusei closed his eyes from a little while and took deep breath.
- Light will gather around the stars! Form new hope to fly upon! Fusion Summon! Bring new light, White Star Dragon!
- What? Fusion Summon?! – I honestly don’t understand what just happened. One moment there were two monsters on his field, second - they are gone and another is in their place. It seemed as if this monster was radiating warmth and light like a sun.
- Yes! This is special fusion summon as I do not use Polymerization, but simply send needed materials to the graveyard.
- Amazing!
- Indeed! Now White Star Dragon attack Red Dragon Archfield! Sunlight Beam! – I was now in serious trouble. If Red Dragon Archfiend is gone then I’m done for. I must save it at all cost. I have no choice but to use that card.
- I won’t let you! I activate my Trap – Interdimensional Matter Transporter! It allows me to banish my monster until the End Phase of this turn.
- But that means….
- Yes, I take direct attack! – White Star Dragon hits me directly and almost sends me flying. I could hear dad’s and Ryusei’s worried screams, but luckily I managed to stabilize my duel runner. This made my life points drop to mere 800.
- Ageha, are you crazy? You could have been hurt there! – Ryusei almost angrily yelled out.
- I know, but if I lose Red Dragon Archfiend I have no chance of winning!
- Your health is much more important then some victory in duel! I end my turn! – Ryusei growled obviously unhappy but he knew that I won’t change my mind once it’s set. During End Phase Red Dragon Archfiend joined my side once again.
- My turn! Draw! – I looked at the card I drew and saw one of the most powerful monsters in my deck. I felt that something was telling me to summon it even though right now it looked like it won’t do no good.
- I summon Dragunity Pilum, and then banish it to Special Summon Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from my hand! – I helplessly looked at my monsters and tried to figure out a way how could I overpower Ryusei. Then suddenly a vision appeared in my head. At beginning of this adventure I would have freaked out but now I’ve been having so many visions due my memory loss that it doesn’t bother me anymore.
This time I saw a dragon. It was very much like Red Dragon Archfiend however it was black and it had red eyes….
I knew what I had to do!
- Darkness will embrace the king’s power! Light of red lead me to the victory! Fusion Summon! Demolish your enemies, Red-Eyes Demon Dragon! – The dragon of my vision now appeared next to me, ready to fight its enemy.
- You did it, Ageha! – Ryusei said and smiled at me.
- It’s amazing! They both managed to get new power! – Yusei said excited. He has now regained his hope.
- I won’t stay behind you, Ryusei! Red-Eyes Demon Dragon attack White Star Dragon! Darkness Flare! – My dragon had already fired his deadly beam towards Ryusei’s monster but then suddenly some kind of light blocked it half way. Heavy storm arose making both me and Ryusei stop our D-Wheel.
It had become an absolute mess. Even though duel should have stopped, Red-Eyes Demon Dragon was now fighting White Star Dragon. It looked like they would never stop but then…. Both of them disappeared and giant, beautiful, white dragon emerged in their place. It spread out through whole stadium and then vanished.
All that was left now were our new monster cards and light dust…

Chapter 11.

Ryusei and I were now riding around the streets, trying to find were did Gary and others go. It’s been two days and we haven’t heard anything from them. Crow had informed Securities about them but we still haven’t received any reports.
- We won’t find them like this. – Said Ryusei when we stopped to rest for a minute.
- Maybe we should split up so we can find them faster? – I offered.
- Okay, but let’s look at some gloomy places first. I doubt they will hide in any place where it would be easy to find them.
- Yeah, true. Let’s meet here after two hours! – I said and took off on my duel runner. My duel runner was purple, with wheel-like form however not exactly like my dad’s D-Wheel. It was more like Yusei’s D-Wheel only smaller and much more agile.
After half hour of driving through alleyways I decided it’s time to check the coastal line of city. While driving by coast I noticed some dark colored D-Wheel riding at amazing speed on Daedalus Bridge. For moment it seemed that it will keep driving straight into city but then it suddenly turned in my direction.
It drove past me so I didn’t pay any attention to it. But then I saw my D-Wheel switch into autopilot mode that way showing that turbo duel has started. When I looked back I saw same shady D-Wheel from before.
- What? How the hell did you do that? – I asked surprised. It’s impossible to start turbo duel unless both duelists agree on that.
- It doesn’t matter how I did that. What matters is that I will beat you and retrieve The Book of Sunrise! – His voice was totally weird. It sounds like some cheap computer program, like an old robot or something like that. But in few seconds I completely forgot about his weird voice. Some kind of purple glowing circle was now surrounding us. Whatever it was I had a feeling that it can’t be good.
The dangerous part here was that we weren’t using dueling lane on Daedalus Bridge. That means at the end of duel when loser’s D-Wheel stops it may catch innocent people in the way and cause injuries.
- Let’s get this over with! I’ll start! I set one monster face-down, set one card face-down and end my turn.
- Okay, my turn! Draw! I summon tuner monster Dragunity Aklys! Then use its effect to summon Dragunity Militum and equip Aklys to it. Then I use Militum’s effect to Special Summon my equipped Aklys. – I had a feeling that I need to finish this duel fast or something bad will happen. That purple circle around us didn’t give me peace. But wait…. That guy has some kind of purple glowing mark on his arm. I rode a little bit closer to him to see it. It looked like some kind of human figure with wings. I couldn’t figure out the meaning of it though.
- Will stare into space or will you play already? – Impatiently asked dark duelist.
- I will play! I tune my level 2 Dragunity Aklys with level 4 Dragunity Militum to Synchro Summon: Dragunity Knight – Gae Bulg! Now, Gae Bulg, attack his set monster!
- I’m afraid that won’t work! I reveal my set monster – Destiny Hero Defender! – This is what I expected the least. Destiny Hero Defender has the highest defense for low level monster. My life points drop to 3400. But wait…. Something is weird here. I actually felt the pain.
- What is happening?! – I surprised about sudden pain asked to dark duelist.
- You see that circle? Well, it makes all damage you take real! – He said it while grinning with pleasure.
- But that means…..
- Yes, only one of us will stay alive! – He said and started laughing like a maniac. It took me a while to realize that I was in big trouble. However I can not lose. It was now clear to me that this guy was send by Pandemonium Arc.
- I set one card face-down and end my turn!
- My turn! Draw! I activate Speed Spell – Overboost! I gain 6 Speed Counters however during my End Phase my Speed Counters become 1. First I activate effect of Speed World! I remove 4 of my Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage for each Speed Spell in my hand. Right now I have 1. – This time pain was little bit worse, because I took more damage. My life points drop to 2600.
- Now I’ll activate another Speed Spell – Speed Fusion! If I have 4 or more Speed Counters I can use this card to Special Summon Fusion monster! I send Destiny Hero – Plasma and Destiny Hero – Dogma from my Hand to Graveyard as Fusion Materials to Fusion Summon – Destiny End Dragoon! – This monster was terrifying! It looks like it came out of someone’s nightmare.
- You’re going to die now, little girl! I activate effect of Destiny End Dragoon! Once per turn I can destroy one of your monsters and inflict damage to you equal to its ATK!
- No way!
- Yes! I choose to destroy Dragunity Knight – Gae Bulg! – Pain now was terrifying! I lost control of my D-Wheel and started spinning around on street. Somehow I managed to get my strength together, take control of spinning vehicle. Luckily, no one got caught in my way.
- You’re one tough girl aren’t you?! Luckily for you I cannot attack this turn but it doesn’t matter, you have only 600 Life Points left. Next turn is the end for you! – I hated to admit it but he was right. Even if I somehow manage to survive next turn, once he gets 4 Speed Counters he can use effect of Speed World and wipe out last of my Life Points. But if I give up, then everything is lost for me. I can’t simply lose here. I have to win.
- It’s my turn, draw! – I carefully looked at my card. Yes! It was exactly what I need!
- First I summon Dragunity Pilum, and then banish it to Special Summon Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon. Next I activate my Trap – Call of The Haunted to revive Gae – Bulg.
- You can try all you can but you won’t beat me! – Dark duelist confidently said.
- We’ll see about that! I activate Red-Eyes effect to Special Summon Tuner monster Dragunity Phalanx from my hand. Now I tune my level 2 Dragunity Phalanx with my Level 6 Dragunity Knight – Gae Bulg. The ruler’s heartbeat will flow through air! Behold how burning flame takes shape of power. Synchro Summon! My very soul, Red Dragon Archfiend!
- So this is your ace monster? Red Dragon Archfiend. Its power is not enough to destroy Destiny End Dragoon.
- Or is it? I activate Speed Spell – Half Seize! If I have 3 or more Speed Counters I can half ATK of one of your monsters and gain life points equal to that amount.
- What?! No! – Destiny End Dragoon now has 1500 ATK and my life points increased to 2100.
- Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon attack Destiny End Dragoon! Black death stream! – Destiny End Dragoon is destroyed and dark duelist’s life points drop to 2700.
- Red Dragon Archfiend, attack Destiny Hero Defender! Absolute Power Force! – Even Defender’s giant defense power is no match for Red Dragon Archfiend.
- Don’t think you’ll get around so easy! I activate my Trap – Destiny Signal! When my monster is destroyed I can Special Summon 1 Destiny Hero monster from my hand or deck. I summon Destiny Hero Diamond Dude from my Deck!
- Okay, I end my turn!
- My turn, draw! I summon Destiny Hero – Fear Monger! Now I shall create Overlay network with Fear Monger and Diamond Dude! Xyz Summon! Spread darkness, Chaos Infinity Dragon!
- What? Xyz Summon?
- Exactly! Now I activate effect of Chaos Infinity Dragon! Once per turn I can detach one Xyz Material and banish one DARK monster in my grave to gain 200 ATK for each of that monsters level. I banish Destiny End Dragoon and now my Chaos Infinity Dragon gains 2000 ATK!
- 2000 ATK! No way!
- Chaos Infinity Dragon attack Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon! Infinity Burst! – My Red-Eyes gets destroyed and my life points drop to 1500. The worst thing is that Chaos Infinity Dragon’s effect is permanent so Red Dragon Archfiend can’t destroy it.

Chapter 12.

- It’s your turn now, little girl. Your last turn! – Shady duelist said and started laughing. I just grinded my teeth and drew new card. This is the card I expected the least now. However, it was card of my hope and it could help me win this duel.
- I summon Tuner Monster Majestic Dragon and then because I normal summoned monster this turn, I can Special Summon Turbo Booster from my hand!
- Ha! One monster more pathetic then the other. You must be really desperate to summon these.
- I am desperate because such scumbag as you doesn’t even deserve to see the monster I’m about to summon.
- Oh, another weakling! Bring it on, girly! – Shady duelist said and started laughing.
- Okay, then I will! I tune my level 1 Majestic Dragon with level 1 Turbo Booster and level 8 Red Dragon Archfiend! A lone single polished light, become the true high-ruler and illuminate the earth! Shine your light! Synchro Summon! The great soul, Majestic Red Dragon!
- What is this monster?! – Dark rider was covering his eyes from the bright light which was coming from my dear monster.
- This is the monster that will finish you! I activate effect of Majestic Red Dragon. I can negate effect of one of your monsters and gain its ATK! That means that Chaos Infinity Dragon’s ATK is back to normal and my Majestic Red Dragon’s ATK is now equal to 5800!
- Impossible!
- Majestic Red Dragon attack Chaos Infinity Dragon! Majestic Fire! – Chaos Infinity Dragon is destroyed and dark duelist’s life points drop to 0. I have won the duel. But something was wrong. As shady rider’s D-Wheel stopped it was now at risk of hitting me and crushing as both into some building.
Dark duelist’s D-Wheel now was completely out of control, spinning towards me. It was only matter of time before I get hit. Suddenly I felt heat form into my hand which got worse and worse with each second. It was burning my skin and I could see mark forming onto my hand.
Everything was happening so fast that it took me a while to realize the situation. Right before dark duelist’s D-Wheel hit me, Majestic Red Dragon lifted me and my duel runner into the air saving me from the clash. Shady duelist clashed into building and exploded. I commanded Majestic Red Dragon to land so I can see if the he was alright. However when I was closer I saw that it was not even human. It was really just a robot which was now broken into thousand pieces.
It took me a while to realize that Majestic Red Dragon was somehow real and now floating above my head as if guarding me from evil that could come. Honestly I could even feel the heat dragon was radiating. For ten minutes I just sat there next to my dragon trying to figure out what exactly happened. Suddenly I felt someone shaking my shoulders.
- Ageha! Snap out of it! – As if bringing me out of some weird dream I saw Ryusei yelling at me. Right behind his back was Gary, Sky, Nico, Laila and Marie.
- What happened? – I asked still confused.
- That’s my line! After I managed to find these guys I heard roar of Red Dragon Archfiend so I figured you’ll be dueling. Once I came in to check I saw you sitting here next to pile of something that apparently was once a robot and Majestic Red Dragon sleeping on a building! – I looked up and saw that Majestic Red Dragon was really now on a building resting. It glanced at me with one eye and then went to sleep again.
- It all was so weird. At first he somehow managed to put my D-Wheel in duel mode without me knowing. Then all the damage was real and actually caused pain. After that that thing almost clashed into me, some weird burning mark appeared on my arm and my monster became real…. What a day! – I now told everything that was on my mind now since I was really shocked of all that happened.
- Show me that mark! – Asked Ryusei now bit calmer then before.
- Okay. – I folded my jacket away from my arm to see it. We all were shocked of what we saw. A mark that looks like a triangle with one open side was now blooming onto my hand. And by blooming I mean that was swollen red as if it was burnt out with something. However, it didn’t hurt unless I touched it.
- What is that mark? – Gary asked surprised. Suddenly I heard sound of few duel runners. At first I thought it was more of things like this robot but then I was relieved to see that it was my dad and Yusei. They quickly ran closer to me; obviously they didn’t notice the giant dragon sleeping on building.
- Ageha, what happened? Are you alright? – Jack worried said. I didn’t say anything just showed mark on my hand.
- That mark! – Yusei and Jack exclaimed at same time.
- It’s just like something we had from Crimson Dragon! Only this one is different from those that Signers had. – Yusei said now smiling.
- Yeah, it seems that you’re new signer, my daughter! – Jack smiled at me and gently hugged me.
- Dad, the mark and the robot is least of our worries. – I said. He still hasn’t noticed dragon.
- What do you mean? – He asked bit confused. Yusei finally had noticed dragon when he looked around.
- Jack, you should look up there… - Yusei quietly said and pointed towards sleeping monster.
- WOAH! Is… that…? – Jack exclaimed totally shocked about this sight.
- Yes, that’s Majestic Red Dragon! I don’t know how but somehow it became real. – I explained and when I mentioned its name, Majestic Red Dragon opened its eyes and took flight to land on the street. Right now I was so happy that we were in quiet region. All the people that were around already ran away when they saw duel happening outside the duel lane.
Gary and his gang nervously backed away when Majestic Red Dragon landed. I don’t blame them; if I wasn’t the owner of Majestic Red Dragon I would be scared as well. However my dad was exact opposite. He looked excited to see Majestic Red Dragon again. He came closer to it and reached out one hand to touch it.
- Remember me, old friend? – He asked Majestic Red Dragon who was watching Jack carefully. For a while it just looked at Jack’s hand but then slowly put its face into Jack’s palm. They stayed like that for a minute or so and then parted again. Without a doubt Majestic Red Dragon hasn’t forgotten my dad even though now it was with me.
- So what should we do about him, Jack? – Yusei asked while smiling.
- I think I know! – Jack smiled back at Yusei and then looked at me. I already knew that dad got something crazy in mind.
After 5 minutes…..
- How is this happening?!!! – I squealed out loud while holding on to my father tightly.
- This is awesome! I feel like I’m 20 years old again! – My father cheered in ecstasy. We were now riding on Majestic Red Dragon’s back over the city! Others took their D-Wheels to get to 5D’s mansion however my father and I decided to take a flight on dragon’s back. I have to admit after you forget about the high you’re now on, it’s actually pretty fun.
- Dad, this is crazy! – I squealed out once again while grabbing onto his clothes.
- Nonsense! This is fun! Majestic Red Dragon is having fun as well! – As if in approval Majestic Red gave a loud roar that echoed through the city.
We flew like this for long time. At beginning it was crazy and fast and at some point I thought I will fall off. However in the end it became slow and relaxing ride.
- This should be enough for today. Let’s go home shall we? – Dad said while smiling at me.
- Okay, let’s go! – I nodded my head in approval. Majestic Red Dragon turned towards the mansion even without our command. Soon we landed in the garden were everyone was waiting for our arrival.
- I see you enjoyed your ride. – Gary said as he helped me to get off dragon’s back. He looked bit angry though.
- Of course! That was fun! – I smiled widely showing my perfectly white teeth.
- Hahaha, you should look at your hair! – Ryusei laughed at me loudly. I looked into my reflection in near pond and saw that my long hair was now a complete mess.
- Shut up, if your hair would be this long and you took a ride with “Master of Faster” on dragons back, you would look even worse! – Everyone now laughed happily. Dad was obviously pleased that I called him in his old title.
Suddenly I heard scream coming from near by. I looked towards direction of the sound and saw Akiza who was now terrified.
- Is it… real? – She said with a trembling voice while pointing towards Majestic Red Dragon.
- Yes…. So? – Jack said completely unaffected by her scream.
- Oh no! – Aki quickly ran towards me and instantly took off my jacket to see mark on my arm.
- This is terrible!
- Why? Akiza, what’s wrong? – Yusei asked. Everyone started to get worried.
- Don’t you see it? Ageha has gained power to bring cards to life!

Chapter 13.

It was 4 a.m. in the morning but I still haven’t fallen asleep. I couldn’t stop thinking about what Akiza said to me. She explained that power to bring cards to life is not as cool as it seems. Akiza said that she had hurt many people like that even when she didn’t want to.
Also it looks like my power is far worse then one that Akiza had. She could bring any card to life but it was for a short amount of time. However it looks like effect of my power is permanent since Majestic Red Dragon is now sleeping in garden. We do not know can I bring to life all cards or just some of them. That’s why I can’t duel until we find that out.
I was tired of lying in bed, so I put on my jacket and went out in garden. It was quite warm, pleasant night. As I came closer to Majestic Red Dragon it woke up. Even though I didn’t notice any change in its expression I felt that it was happy that I came here.
- Mind if I stay here for a while? – I asked him. Majestic Red Dragon just bowed its head in agreement. I laid down on its tail to rest for a bit. I knew it wasn’t good that Majestic Red Dragon is real however I was glad that it was. I felt safe with it around because I knew that Majestic Red Dragon wouldn’t let anyone from Pandemonium Arc to hurt me.
I felt something warm on my cheek. I slowly opened my eyes and saw little ray of sunlight shine down on me. I had fallen asleep outside. Suddenly I heard my dad call for me from inside the mansion.
- Ageha! Where are you?! – He sounded pretty worried. Majestic Red Dragon let out a loud roar as if telling Jack that I’m here. Soon my dad ran out in garden to notice me still laying on my dragon.
- Ageha, don’t tell me you that you slept here? – He asked once he came closer.
- Sorry, dad. I just couldn’t fall asleep so I came here.
- That’s okay, since it was pretty warm this night, but you know that you can catch cold like this.
- Sorry.
- Go dress up and then come to dinning room. We all need to talk about something important. – I nodded my head and went to my room to change. Once ready I went to the dining room. It was huge room with a long table in middle of it since Team 5D’s came to eat here every morning. That’s why our families were in such good terms with each other.
Once I entered dining room I saw that few people were missing.
- Dad, where are everyone? – I asked curiously.
- What do you mean? – Jack didn’t understand my question.
- Well, I even with my memory loss, still I remembered that every member of Team 5D’s has at least one child and I see only Ryusei and me.
- Oh, they are on field trip! – Yusei explained to me. I had almost forgotten that I went to school too. To Duel Academy to be precise, but since I was missing for a year, it was no use going to school now.
- Why isn’t Ryusei with them? – I asked curiously.
- Because I went to search for you! – Ryusei explained.
- Sit down, Ageha. We need to discuss something serious! – Yusei said and showed me at free seat next to Ryusei. I sat down next to him without any arguing. I bet they have come up with something this night.
- Okay, as you all know right now Ageha now bears signer mark and with its help Majestic Red Dragon has come to life! – Yusei started explaining situation to us all.
- We do not yet know how her power works, however from what we see right now Ageha’s power is much stronger then Akiza’s was since the effect seems to be permanent. Also it is now obvious that Pandemonium Arc has sent some kind of duel bots to find Ageha and The Book of Sunrise. – Everyone carefully listened to Yusei and nobody dared to interfere.
- Yesterday, old Team 5D’s came to together and made few decisions of what we should do. First decision is that Laila and her group should patrol the streets to see how many of those duel bots are exactly in Neo Domino City. – Leo continued from were Yusei left of.
- Us? – Marie asked surprised that she has role in all of this as well.
- Yes, because it’s obvious that duel bots will avoid Team 5D’s or The Securities. If they see you they would think of you as civilians and not pay much attention to you. – Leo explained to Marie.
- I see. That really does make sense. Very well, we shall take this duty! – Laila answered in name of all of her group.
- Okay, next thing we agreed on yesterday was that Ageha should leave Neo Domino City until she figures out how exactly her powers work. – Yusei suggested.
- Leave? Alone? – I asked surprised about this decision.
- No, not alone. Ryusei and I also shall go with you. – Akiza said and gave me a warm smile.
- Why that guy has to go with her? – Gary exclaimed obviously displeased about this decision.
- Because Ryusei most likely is a signer just like Ageha. We need to bring out his power as well. – Jack explained to Gary who now seemed bit calmer even though still displeased.
- What about Majestic Red Dragon? – I asked.
- Don’t worry, I shall watch over him! – Dad said with smile on his face. If someone could take good care of Majestic Red Dragon then it was definitely my dad.
- Now when everything is settled let’s get to our work. Ageha, Ryusei and Akiza can start packing up. I already got plane tickets to place were you all three will stay. – Crow said and handed Akiza tickets. After that everyone went their own way. Laila and her group went to patrol city, old Team 5D’s kept an eye on what Securities found. Me, Ryusei and Akiza went to pack our stuff.
After half an hour we were all ready. Crow had brought us a car with windows which can’t be seen through from outside. That way if we happen to pass some duel bot, it won’t know that I’m there.
After two hours of flight in plane and hour of ride in bus we finally arrived at our destination – Snow Hill Mountain. It was great place for skiing and skating however since this place was hard to reach not many came here. It was a perfect place for us to stay because no duel bot will even think that we could be here. We have also brought The Book of Sunrise with us hoping that maybe we’ll find some answer there.
However something quite unexpected happened. It turns out that yesterday a group of school children arrived here to rest as well and they have taken a lot of rooms in hotel. There were only two rooms left so Ryusei and I had to share the room. None of could share the room with Akiza because she hates sleeping with others in same room and she completely denied sleeping in one room with me.
Well, that wasn’t the worst part. Worst part was that we had to share bed as well since there was only one bed in either ours or Akiza’s room…
