 Grinder Golem OTK

This is one of the many decks I wanna make irl (and I mean MANY - I'm ordering OCG Infernity Barriers so I can make them for cheap), and one of the trickiest to work around. I decided I wanted to make it after I saw a couple of people using it as a troll deck:



Dogma and Plasma - Level 8 Destiny Hero, only in here for draw engines
Grinder Golem - key component of the deck, it's utterly nasty to set up Inferno tempest with 1 card but thats why it works.
Helios Trice - Level 8 Monster that powers up for having banished monsters, this becomes important in a bit
Jinzo - Part of one potential OTK, shuts down traps
Nomble Momonga - Keeps me alive while I gather combo pieces, makes good Xyz Material (bait 'dem Warnings)
Mega Hamster - extra defender, can pull Momonga, maybe bluff a Ryko or some such
Destiny Draw - Cycle through the deck
Gold Sarc - Add whatever I need to my hand
Inferno Tempest - This is what kills the opposing player, by setting up whatever the combo is to win. With Grinder Golem, I can eliminate even the toughest stain.
One Day of Peace - This one card made the deck feasible in real life. Now I can prevent the opponent killing me on their turn by using this M2, or stall to get an OTK together
Trade-In - See Destiny Draw
D.D. Dynamite - This creates one of the 3 potential OTKS, and is very easy depending on how many I draw. 1 Is lethal only if the opponent has 27 banished cards(27*300=8100) ; unless I'm playing against Hieratics, HMB, or Gallis OTK, that won't happen. However, if I draw 2, my opponent only needs 14 banished cards (14*2*300=8400), well within the realm of possibility.
Dark Bribe - The only things I care about are stopping their spells and traps from killing me. This does that nicely, and makes the opponent draw (leading to another potential OTK - deckout). I may change this to Reckless Greed for a turbo version.
Return from the Different Dimension - The 3rd and final OTK method, spam the field with my banished mons (including Jinzo).

So, thoughts?

Amazing deck... very unique and rather unpredictable.. Very Happy
I was just thinkin that u might run into a situation of gettin all those high level witout any tribute fodder or dos draw power..u might think of addin duality since it minimises this problem Cool
other than that ur deck is awesome Smile

very nice but i think jinzo shuts down 1 of ur OTKs the 1 with dynamite and dark bribe too if jinzo is on the field and ur opponent uses something like a dark hole or something u cant bribe it cuz jinzo negates bribe... i think u shud have trap stun instead cuz trap stun only shuts it for 1 turn and if its ur turn then u can easily bribe or dynamite ur opp on their turn. stun could also stop things like mirror force or bottomless or starlight or something and i really think u shud have mst and/or heavy storm probably a dark hole too for clearing the field

Jinzo doesn't shut anything down, it's there for return from a different dimension, and not D.D. Dynamite, obviously it won't be summoned if you're just going to go off with Dynamite.

Have you considered adding some lava golems to deal with the opponent's monsters, and battle faders? Fader can defend, or attack into lava golem, the next turn, and lava golem hits your opponent for a little nice damage...

Duality isn't quite as good here because the key combo requires you to special summon, but seeing as I'm running Normal Summon-able monsters and 3 One Day of Peace, I can try it. I'll drop a Sarc for one Duality and see how that goes.

Precisely. When I say the deck has 3 possible methods to OTK, those 3 are independent of each other. I'm going to try for whichever OTK is most feasible at the time; if that fails I have 2 methods left if I can hang on long enough.

Lava Golem and Battle Fader eh? I can try it with 2 Fader and 2 Golem in lieu of the Momonga and Hamster.

i was thinking fire princess? with nimble momonga oh and ofcourse necroface if u sarco necroface its eff activates banishing top 5 of both players decks then d.d. dynamite
and also if u have one day of peace and then u set dynamite what if ur opp destroyed dynamite with heavy or mst? even if u chain dynamite one day stops damage...

Fire Princess really doesn't work out for me in this deck. I only really have 1 card that heals me (in 3 copies, but it's heavily specific), and the burn she does is miniscule. She would also use up a Normal Summon, and be an easy attack target. Necroface I considered, but the most likely way it's getting banished is by Tempest... and then I banish 5 spells or traps, which I sorely want. Unless I draw it into hand and summon it as a beater, it would hurt me; and even then, I have much better beat options with RftDD.

There's a simple answer here; if I play One Day of Peace, I just wait until next turn to set the Dynamite. Just because I draw the trap doesn't mean I have to set it right away.
